  1. Coping with COVID-19: remaining productive and how OnePlace Solutions is contributing

    OnePlace Solutions is offering the OnePlaceMail App for free until June 30, 2020. The free offer will include all product features, including:

    • Saving emails and attachments to SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
    • Classifying content with the automatic capture of email attributes and any other metadata as per your SharePoint environment
    • Ability to insert from SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive as either links or attachments.

  2. Intermittent 503 error with OnePlaceMail App

    Due to the current situation with COVID-19 and many people now working remotely, some Microsoft services are throttling to handle the extra load.
    This can result in a ‘503’ (Service Unavailable/Server Too Busy) is one of the errors that may appear when this occurs.

    Due to this, the 503 error may also appear intermittently when using the OnePlaceMail App as well as OnePlaceMail & OnePlaceDocs Desktop with Office 365.

    We have logged this with Microsoft Support and encourage users experiencing this to do the same via their tenant in Central Administration

  3. Authentication Updates

    The latest changes in Google Chrome handling of cookies has resulted in a change to the way we can authenticate when using the OnePlaceMail App.

    We're working to align the authentication of the app with these updates.

    Part of these changes will include the need for re-consent of permissions by the OnePlaceMail App. Administrators will be able to proactively re-consent for their organization so that users are not impacted or prompted to re-consent.

  6. *Updated*: Additional columns available in OnePlaceMail App for Outlook

    When saving to a library where custom columns have been applied, you will now see some additional columns available.

    Supported columns are:
    Single Line Text
    Multi-Line Text
    Choice
    Multi-Choice
    Yes / No
    Lookup

    Number
    Date & Time
    Currency Column
    Managed Metadata
    People & groups

    This completes support for custom columns.
