Unable to save attachments to SharePoint
When moving attachments to SharePoint from Outlook I get the following error:
An error has occurred saving file to Sharepoint.
Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Application: OnePlaceMail
Method: Void CopyAttachmentsToSharePointButton_Click(Microsoft.Office.Interop.Outlook.AttachmentSelection)
Stack Trace: at FileToWSSOutlookAddIn.ThisAddIn.CopyAttachmentsToSharePointButton_Click(AttachmentSelection attachmentsSelected)
Any ideas?

Hi Marius/Verity!
Thank you for updating this thread :)
Unfortunately, this is a bug at the moment. I will update this thread as there are any changes, when this is resolved.
As Verity mentioned, the best workaround at the moment is to drag/drop the attachment to the PST folder in Outlook. The drag/drop function works as normal Windows, (ie. right click & drag/drop will give you a move/copy option when the location is selected).
Kind regards
Elissa

Allright, I'll keep you updated. I also made a fresh topic about the subject since this one was marked as "Solved" or something along them lines.
Thanks for the tip on the workaround, that'll absolutely work in the meantime.
So I guess it's patience from now on and out since the fix will probably only happen from a patch or a minor version upgrade, most likely the latter.

Let me know if you find a solution - OnePlaceMail support called and troubleshot this issue with me over a few days however there was no resolution.
After uninstalling and reinstalling they we then tried using the .msi files instead - however this remained the same. They checked the logs etc but in the end the last email was:
"Thanks so much for trying these steps.
This could be a bug, as this is such a new release from Microsoft (2016). I will let you know the outcome from further testing/discussion with development team.
A workaround would be to add a document library to the OnePlaceMail PST. You could add this to your favourite locations.
You could then drag/drop attachments to this location."
So....Written up currently as a BUG.... :(

I have the exact same problem, tried it on 2 different computers and both have the same issue. Clicking the "Copy attatchment(s) to Sharepoint" as shown over results in nothing happening.
I can however right click the whole mail and use the same function and then the new windown pops up like it should (where I choose the site on SP I want to save it to etc).
The issue came up when I re-installed/upgraded my licensed Oneplace solution so it could support Office 2016.
Running Win 10 and Office 365.

Actually, I was wrong. Now when I ask the attachment to be saved to sharepoint nothing happens. Any other ideas? This all happened after an update, how can I roll back to prior an update? Thank you.

Thank you, the interface is a little different, but this does seem to have solved the problem. Thanks!

Thank you. If I attempt to save an attachment from any email at all this happens. I can transfer the whole email to SharePoint but not the attachments.

Have has a quick search through OnePlaceMail and Outlook Help but this was the only thread that was the same query as mine.

Verity.

Hi Verity,
Are you able to confirm whether this occurs on all document libraries, or specific ones?
If possible, please attach a screenshot to assist in troubleshooting.
Kind regards
