  1. Item View Limit - O365 - How have you handled this

    What strategies ought I consider for working around the 5,000 item view limit set in Office 365/SharePoint? For document libraries, it's relatively easy. For email data stores....confounding at best.
    Please offer any "best practices" for using the power of OnePlaceMail and working around the 5,000 item limit.

  2. Button "Insert from SharePoint" does not work (nothing happens)

    Hi,

    We use OPM 7.4.2 and we have an issue with the "Insert From SharePoint" functionality.
    When the user create a new email, then he wants to attach a doc from sharepoint, he clicks on "Insert from SharePoint", but nothing happens.
    Do you have an idea to solve the problem ?
    The config files are the same than other users (for who the button works).

  3. Recovered files lost

    Hi,

    I've tried to move 5000 files from a shared mailbox to oneplace and the system crashed. The emails were in the recovered files but they are not there anymore. Is there a way to recover this as the emails are important

  6. How can we update centrally user favorites ?

    Hi,
    We use OPM 7.4.2 and each user has made their own favorites.
    Is it possible to add a new favorite in the favorites.xml file with a sort of config_update.xml file ? We need to add a favorite for all our users but we do not want to ask them to add the favorite on their own.

  7. Getting error messages after email migration from Exchange to O365

    My email was recently migrated from an on-prem Exchange server to Office365, and the migration process created a new Outlook profile (pst). Since I started using the new Outlook profile, I'm getting error messages when I load Outlook or when I use OnePlaceMail.

    The errors are things like:
    - An error has occurred refreshing 'Favorites'
    - An error has occurred setting 'Recent Locations'
    - An error has occurred when initializing OnePlaceMail

    I tried to uninstall and reinstall OPM, and to do a repair install, but nothing seems to remove the errors. Has anyone seen this and have guidance on how…

  8. Sharepoint 2013 On Premise Enterprise with incoming Email Promoted Fields

    I am researching using OPM Lite, but it looks like a desktop application. I simply need to use OPM Lite to promote the From:, Subject, and Body fields in the email as columns in a Sharepoint incoming email document library. There will not be any user drag-drop or other activity from a desktop, but emails coming in from anonymous users to the web server SMTP service. How does licensing work for that?

    Problem refreshing OnePlaceMail recent locations, Cannot create the folder.

    this error comes up every time outlook opens and when saving to sharepoint however the recent locations is updating.....

    Full error below and using Outlook 2013 with Office365 and sharepoint subscription:

  12. Error loading folders access denied

    Error loading folders access denied..This is occuring when i add a site to the manage my folders section. I have member access to sharepoint and it allows me to make the connection ok..but when i try to expand the site i get this error. Any ideas??

    A couple of emails that have been transfeerred to Sharepoint via OPM have now the following text in the Categories column - I cant find an explanation of the meaning of this comment - can you clarify for me please

  16. Outlook Errors after upgrading to O365 Office 2016

    After I upgraded to O365 Office 2016, OPM continues to produce multiple errors.

    An error has occurred refreshing "Favorites" An OLE registration error occurred. the program is not correctly installed. Then:

    There was a problem refreshing OPM recent locations, then:

    The OnePlaceMail Outlook addin encountered an error and could not be initialized.

    I have cleared recent history, reinstalled. I can connect to SharePoint.

  17. Asset libraries not visible in OnePlaceMail

    To my surprise, an end-user reported that an ordinary asset library is not visible in her OnePlaceMail windows. I tested this with a standard asset library and was able to reproduce the issue. Since I thought this was supposed to work out-of-the-box, I unfortunately don't know how to further troubleshoot. Can anybody help point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance for any advice.

    We are using SharePoint 2010, OnePlaceMail 6.3 (client: 24.0.22, server: 21.0.6)

  18. Shortcuts in left hand side navigation in outlook 2016 not working

    Hi, We are using OnePlaceMail 7.2. Our Sharepoint View and Outlook view do not show our sharepoint library details when we click on one of our favorites in the left hand side navigation of Outlook 2016. How do we fix this?

  19. Is there a Save to SharePoint default location so users do not get to choose?

    Hi, I would like my users to save to SharePoint without having to choose the location, a true one click option. Can I set a default save location and not have them see the Save to SharePoint window?

  20. Feature comparison

    Most software vendors have a table to compare features in different products. It would be very nice to see a table comparing the feature sets of the different OnePlace product offerings.

    For example - what do I get/not get in Lite compared to the Full version?
