   When installing OnePlaceMail-Lite I get an error with one of our users.

   Setup Failed. One or more issues caused the setup to fail. Please fix the issues

4. Stupid decision that has pissed off loyal customers and lost OPS a lot of good-will

   I am a Microsoft Partner and SharePoint consultant, supporting many clients with Office 365 SharePoint and an evangelist for your product, spruiking it everywhere I go. We have many clients on the Lite version.

   One comment I have is the very stupid decision to force the full product on customers. I had a number of clients on version 6 Lite/OPM. 6 stopped working and forced customers to install the full version of 7. Now, 30 days later, the trial period has expired we are having to uninstall the full version of 7 and reinstall the Lite version of 7. This has been an enormous amount of work for an administrator, to log on to each PC individually and perform installs/uninstalls.

   I understand the motivation of showcasing the full product - but not this way. This was a very poor decision and has caused loyal customers to be extremely pissed off. I have many angry clients who are questioning the IT expense of continual install and uninstall and we have definitely lost all the good-will toward the One Place product suite.

6. "Error Loading Content" after 7.2 Lite upgrade

   After downgrade to 7.2 Lite, I receive an "error loading content" message when clicking on any of the sharepoint folders. I updated the required prerequisites to the latest version, uninstalled prior to update, removed the Outlook addin prior to update, and rebooted after installation for good measure.

8. Error Installing OnePlaceMail Lite on Office 2016 64 bit

   I have an issue installing OnePlace Mail Lite on a Windows 64 bit system that is running Office 2016 64bit via Office 365. The error message (screen shot attached) is 0x81f40001. As the error message refers to having an earlier version of OnePlaceMail installed I have checked Programs and Features - not installed. The error message also refers to not having the required version of Microsoft Office installed - as mentioned the machine has Office 2016 64 bit.    When installing OnePlace Mail Lite I get an error:

   Setup Failed. One or more issues caused the setup to fail. Please fix the issues and then retry setup. For more information see the log file.

   I also have a log file if needed.

10. OnePlaceMail Lite roaming profile

    Is there a way to change the default behaviour of the roaming profile option under "General Settings" of the Plugin options?

    OnePlaceMail Lite plugin does not appear to be using %appdata% to create the oneplacemail.pst file in the default roaming profile folder, but rather the entire mapped path.

    This causes problems when the .pst file is not in the same path on a load balanced server (for example, Profile1 is stored under C:\Users\Profile1 on Server1 but may be C:\Users\Profile1_xx on Server2).

    When this situation plays out, it prompts the user to create another OnePlaceMail.pst file in the original path - C:\Users\Profile1.

    Hi,

    I'm having an issue where OnePlaceMail Lite crashes Outlook each time I try and save an email. I've attached a screenshot of the issue. 12. Plugins are not available in this version of OnePlaceMail

    Hi all,

    we have written a plugin for OnePlaceMail to make sure that archived emails cannot be uploaded to SharePoint.

    This functionality stopped working from version 7.x and the error we get also confirms this:

    Currently we have installed OnePlace Solutions version 7.3. We changed some of the plugin code, redeployed it and now it works like a charm, EXCEPT that we still get the above message "Plugins are not available in this version of OnePlaceMail...." When clicking OK, everything works fine.

    Can we do something about this message?

14. config_update is removed

    Hello thanks for read, i have my config_update.xml in the folder "C:\Users\me\AppData\Roaming\OnePlace Solutions"

    When i open outlook 2013 the file is deleted from the folder.

    And the configuration does not work.

    Any clue with this?

    During an email messages move from an outlook folder to a sharepoint location, I got this error :

    An error has occurred closing the OnePlaceMail application.

16. Delay when using a BCS based external data column

    SharePoint 2010

    OPM Client 6.4.2

    Server Side Components 6.4.1 (I couldn't locate 6.4.2 version of server side components..)

    We're experiencing a delay when using a BCS based external data column. This does reference a large list (77,685 records) but the list view in SharePoint has been set to only return 100 rows and doesn't have the delay.

    When using the lookup column in SharePoint under document properties the lookup list returns a warning "Too many results have been returned. This results set may be incomplete or truncated" but the lookup appears straight away and once we enter a value in the find the matches are shown and the warning disappears.

    When looking at the field in OnePlaceMail Save Dialogue the lookup takes about 30 seconds before values are returned and the "Find" field only shows "" with no options available:

    Once it's finished returning records the Find correctly shows the "Name" column.

    If we type in the search box without waiting for the initial results and click search we get a "Search Warning" message that "Search criteria cannot be met as Filters are not defined for the External Content Type" ..

    Clicking okay on that the "Find" field changes to "Name" and the matching records are returned within seconds..

    Is there any way to adjust the lookup to only fetch the first 100 by default so the find will populate with available columns but then ensure all records are searched if using a filter? (As per SharePoint document properties)?

17. Solution Profiles 'losing' their specified groups, reverting to 'Everyone'

    I have noticed this since our upgrade to 7.4.2, occasionally OnePlace Live loses its memory of who should have access to certain Solution Profiles. In our organisation there are only two profiles that were originally set up to be accessed by 'Everyone'. The first few times this happened, I noticed at the staff member's desk. Luckily they don't gain access, as permissions are set in SharePoint. However, we do not want people seeing things they shouldn't be seeing. I thought maybe I was seeing things, but when I went in this afternoon there were very many profiles that were changed from 'Specific Groups' to 'Everyone'. 18. Outlook Add-in preview ADFS authentication issue

    I am using the Add-in for Outlook that is in preview.

    After signing into Office 365 using our ADFS server, it returns to Outlook with the following message:

    "Looks like you are having some trouble signing in. Ensure you check the 'Keep me signed in' option on the sign in page. "

    The ADFS endpoint does not have this option. I assume this is referring to the checkbox on the O365 sign in page.

    Should this Add-in work with ADFS?

19. Error when saving to sharepoint

    When saving to sharepoint an error occurs, some documents will save to sharepoint but will receive the default content type and default meta data options only, not the ones specified, wehave server version 5.0 and client 5.2

20. ERROR_BAD_QUERY using Search from "Open from SharePoint" window
