  1. How can you re-add the OnePlaceMail

How can you re-add the OnePlaceMail add-in? I deleted it because it remained in inactive status even when enabling the add-in. I thought re-installing OnePlaceMail would bring the addin back, however after the install completed, the add-in still did not come back. I re-added registry entries by getting them from another system, however it still did not add the add-in back in Outlook. Using Outlook 2016.

  2. Emails not moving and end up in recovered files folder

Since updating to version 7.5.2, when I try to move or copy emails into OnePlaceMail folders, nothing happens (no prompt given to tag the files or confirmation of a successful move). After closing and restarting Outlook, the emails are in the Recovered files folder. Attempting to move/copy files again from the Recovered files folder just results in the same thing (the emails disappear and nothing happens). Any fix for this?

    Hi,

I've tried to move 5000 files from a shared mailbox to oneplace and the system crashed. The emails were in the recovered files but they are not there anymore. Is there a way to recover this as the emails are important

  7. Getting error messages after email migration from Exchange to O365

My email was recently migrated from an on-prem Exchange server to Office365, and the migration process created a new Outlook profile (pst). Since I started using the new Outlook profile, I'm getting error messages when I load Outlook or when I use OnePlaceMail.

    The errors are things like:
    - An error has occurred refreshing 'Favorites'
    - An error has occurred setting 'Recent Locations'
    - An error has occurred when initializing OnePlaceMail

I tried to uninstall and reinstall OPM, and to do a repair install, but nothing seems to remove the errors. Has anyone seen this and have guidance on how…

Is there a way to change behavior of dragging and dropping to be copy instead of move?

Also, if user does a move instead of copy, is there a way to "undo" and get the email back into outlook? Does it get moved into deleted folder?

    Thanks!

  13. Right Click menu for Favourites / Recents

When right-clicking on an email in Outlook, the user is present with the two options of Copy or Move to SharePoint. Upon selecting an option the standard explorer tree is shown to enable the user to select the appropriate location.

It would be great, if the Copy / Move to SharePoint options in the right click menu had a further sub-menu that showed the Recent and/or Favourites that could be selected to file the mail to and avoid the full dialog with explorer tree opening.

A further option could be displayed at the bottom of the sub-menu to open the…

  14. OnePlaceMail Integration Issue - Desktop

I'm reaching out for assistance regarding an issue one of our users is facing. The user utilizes the OnePlaceMail add-in with Outlook on her desktop.

    The problem is as follows:

The pop-up prompt to inquire whether she wants to save or upload a new email is not functioning. This feature was operational before but has ceased to work recently.

    Additional information:

No recent updates have been made to her system.
    Outlook 2016 is being used.
The user's desktop runs on Windows 10.

I have already attempted to resolve the issue by reinstalling the OnePlaceMail add-in.

  15. Outlook "Post in This Folder" Posts should be able to be saved into OnePlaceMail

Outlook New Item\More Items\"Post in This Folder" Posts should be able to be saved into OnePlaceMail. This would allow comments, explanations. memos etc to be easily added without having to send yourself an email to then file. Currently, trying to save these items returns "You have selected 1 items that is currently unsupported. Save operation has been canceled (sic)."

  17. Viewing Pane at bottom of screen rather than only on right

Allow the viewing pane for emails when looking within Outlook to be on the bottom rather than on the right. This would allow more viewing area for the metadata of each email within the columns (which is cramped otherwise) as well as easier reading of the emails themselves.

  18. "root element is missing"

    Hi,
One of our users is getting the error "Root element is missing" in Outlook.
And the oneplace plugin does not work. Is there any way to fix this without having to reinstall oneplace? He has made quite a few links which will probably have to be done again if we reinstall. Thanks

  19. Update category and location in Outlook when Email is already stored in SharePoint

If for any reason (e.g. email has been saved to SharePoint using OnePlaceMail App in OWA or Outlook for iOS) an email is already stored in SharePoint but has not got categorized (Transferred to SharePoint), the category and the SharePoint-Location should be updated in the Outlook email. It should also trigger an update of emails in other Mailboxes when you are using the Email Tracking Service.
Currently this does not happen and all users having received the same email are always unsure if all their important emails have really been stored at SharePoint.
Since storing emails using the OnePlaceMail App…
