1. Viewing Folders In Content Pane (Outlook View)

   Is there a setting or custom configuration that can be applied that will allow for folders to show up in the view pane and not just in the folder hierarchy pane? This would allow us to view the column data on each folder and filter on it.

2. There was a problem refreshing Recent Locations

   Error: Cannot create the folder.

   Application: Microsoft Outlook

   Method: Microsoft.Office.Interop.Outlook.MAPIFolder Add(System.String, System.Object)

   One of our users gets this message 4 times after uploading an email to sharepoint.

   OPM version = 7

   Sharepoint version = 2013.

3. Reset OPM form after we complete "Content type"

   Hi

   When we complete the OPM form to move an email to sharepoint, then we choose the content type at the end, the form is reseted and we have to complete it again.

   We found that we had to complete the content type first to avoid this issue, but is there a way to solve this issue ?

   Do we have to modify the config file ?

   We use OPM 6.6.1

4. Issues With Setting Up Custom Columns (Sharepoint online)

   In regards to the help article listed below, at the "Populate the central column mapping list" section, I'm looking for a little assistance as to where this is set up? I don't see it in the list/library options anywhere obvious. Also, in the OnePlaceMail Outlook plug-in (v7.2) settings, I check the "Specify custom column mapping list" box, but the text box stays grayed out, cannot type in it.

5. How do I fix this error? The type initializer for 'Scinaptic.OnePlaceMail.API.Core.RecentsConfiguration' threw an exception.

   I saw on another similar thread that clicking 'clear recent locations' in the settings fixes this, but the the add-in for Outlook doesn't seem to function at this point - I can't get to the settings for OPM. And, a uninstall/reinstall doesn't seem to make a difference at this point.

6. Unable to install

   Hi,

   OnePlaceMail is an absolute must have app for SharePoint. The reason I am writing is because my lite version isnrt able to upgrade.

   I get a message stating that either previous version not uninstalled oroutlook is running.

   Checking the registry, I have some CLSID entries.

   Any help appreciated

7. OnePLace Addin Registry value change for domain

   Hi

   Can we do a GPO to change the value of the OnePlace addin registry for all computers in the Domain? Coz all the machines are launching outlook but not launching the OnePlace addin. The Default Value is set to 0 when it should be 3. I've manually fixed this but would be nice if i could do it for my whole domain. Can you help?

8. "Error Loading Content" after 7.2 Lite upgrade

   After downgrade to 7.2 Lite, I receive an "error loading content" message when clicking on any of the sharepoint folders. I updated the required prerequisites to the latest version, uninstalled prior to update, removed the Outlook addin prior to update, and rebooted after installation for good measure.

11. Upload to sharepoint, file no checked in version

    Sometimes when I upload a file with oneplacemail, the file will be copied to Sharepoint 2010. But they come in the list with the files which have no checked in version. Also the required properties are not filled in or not copied. Do you have a solution?

13. Outlook 2016 - Copy attachment to SharePoint no longer working

    Everyone in the office just upgraded to Outlook 2016. Now the Copy Attachment(s) to SharePoint option does not work. See attached error screen.

14. The selected location is currently unavailable

    I have the same issue discussed in two other threads by this name:

    The message is displayed as soon as the OnePlace Mail window opens after we opt to move or copy an email to SharePoint- no fodlers or libraries are clicked before the message appears. The message is the same for all sites and libraries. Upload to all of these locations worked when we were using the trial version.

    Per advice on the referenced threads I have attempted to rename the config.xml file, but the only files in the specified location are manifest, settingsupdatesconfig and config_pre7.

    Our SharePoint 2013 installation is vanilla, with no non-standard modifications.

17. Stupid decision that has pissed off loyal customers and lost OPS a lot of good-will

    I am a Microsoft Partner and SharePoint consultant, supporting many clients with Office 365 SharePoint and an evangelist for your product, spruiking it everywhere I go. We have many clients on the Lite version.

    One comment I have is the very stupid decision to force the full product on customers. I had a number of clients on version 6 Lite/OPM. 6 stopped working and forced customers to install the full version of 7. Now, 30 days later, the trial period has expired we are having to uninstall the full version of 7 and reinstall the Lite version of 7. This has been an enormous amount of work for an administrator, to log on to each PC individually and perform installs/uninstalls.

    I understand the motivation of showcasing the full product - but not this way. This was a very poor decision and has caused loyal customers to be extremely pissed off. I have many angry clients who are questioning the IT expense of continual install and uninstall and we have definitely lost all the good-will toward the One Place product suite.

18. enterprise keyword

    Hi,

    I have OPM installed and when I cannot select an eterprise keyword in a list because I have no list displayed. I can on ly write my own keyword in the field.

    how can I have a list of enterprise keyword ? Do I have to modify the config file ?

19. Send and File not working

    When one of our users clicks on Send and File the email sends and but no save window appears to file the email. Is there any one else that has had this issue? Using OnePlaceSolutions 7.1 and have uninstalled and reinstalled and also ran a repair on Office 2013

20. OnePlaceMail-SharePoint-Solution-2013-v4.wsp not active the "Custom Tab"

    Dears,

    I have followed the procedure to install Sandbox Solution for OnePlaceMails.

    I have successfully uploaded and activated the file "OnePlaceMail-SharePoint-Solution-2013-v4.wsp".

    I tried with another wsp file "OnePlaceSolutionsAdministrationSite_v2.wsp" and in this case the "Custom Tab" is then showed for further selection of template site.

    Could you please help me? I think it may have a problem with the first wsp file I downloaded from your site.
