    There is no installation on your Microsoft Exchange Server. OnePlaceMail is client installation (an Add-in for Microsoft Outlook) and connects from Outlook to your SharePoint environment.

    SharePoint 2010 or Office 365

    There is no installation on the SharePoint server. You simply install the OnePlaceMail client software.

    SharePoint 2007/WSS

    A OnePlaceMail Server Component is required if you are saving to SharePoint 2007.

    OnePlaceMail will allow you to save directly to a List, Library, Folder or Document Set.

    When using OnePlaceMail to save content such as emails or email attachments to SharePoint, email attributes are automatically captured and promoted to SharePoint Columns.

    In order to capture the email attributes, appropriate Columns must be available in the destination SharePoint Library/Content Type. OnePlaceMail provides a Sandbox solution containing Email Columns which you can simply include in your libraries/Content Types. Alternatively, you can create your own Columns and setup a Column Mapping table to map email attributes to specific SharePoint columns.

    Step 2 of the following implementation guide will assist with installing the Sandbox solution:

    Yes, both the Express and Enterprise editions support Microsoft Office 365.
