    Hi Bin,

    Thank you for your question.

Please use the /qb switch to run installation silently, e.g.

    FileToWSSOutlookAddInSetup-x86.msi /qb

Please follow this article for additional information:

What is the best practice for enterprise deployment of the OnePlaceMail client (Outlook Add-in) and configuring licensing?

Hope this will help. Please update this topic if you have any questions, I'll be happy to help.

    Hi Aleksandr,

OnePlaceMail requires server component to be installed (which are available with Enterprise Edition of OnePlaceMail) on the server side for SharePoint 2007.

Please refer to the following article for more details:

Do I need to install the OnePlaceMail Server Components?

But as your SharePoint 2007 is hosted you won't be able to install anything on the server. Unfortunately we don't have any other solution for this kind of environment.

    Hi Yuliya,

    thank you for the screenshots.

The root cause of the issue is in the different libraries used:

    https://d37wxxhohlp07s.cloudfront.net/s3_images/877675/1.png?1364254549

I'd also recommend to upgrade to the latest version of OnePlaceMail as it contains a lot of enchancements and significant performance boost. Please refer to the Release Notes for more details.

Hope this will help. Please update this topic if you have any questions or any assistance is required. Thank you.

    Hi Yuliya,

    thank you for your question.

Could you please provide additional information regarding your issue:

    1) What type of column the "Document Type" is?

    2) Please provide two screenshots: a) From OnePlaceMail (with not updated values in the "Document Type" column) b) From SharePoint in the upload window (with updated values in the "Document Type" column)

Please either use the "Add Image" button on the right bottom corner of the message field or email it to me directly ilia (at) scinaptic.com

I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you.

    Hi Dan,

    thank you for your question.

You are right regarding "EmailTo" field availability in the "Group by" option. This field is multy-line and has unlimited length, that's why it's not available for grouping.

This was done intentinaly as the "To" field in an email message could be much longer than 255 symbols which is the limitation for a single-line text field in SharePoint.

Hope this wil help. Please update this topic if you have any questions. Thank you.

    Hi Steve,

    thank you for your question.

All embedded content (images, audio, video) safely remains inside the email message (.msg file).

This allows a user to open an .msg file from the SharePoint list and view/reply/forward this email as it's usually done with other email messages in Outlook.

Hope this will help. Please update this topic if you have any questions. Thank you.

    Hi Steve,

currently it's not possible to save an email to an existing list item in SharePoint.

Regardless of this, I'm glad to let you know we already have this feature under consideration in our backlog.

As a workaround you may use a Document Library with Document Set enabled. This will allow you to use Documen Sets as project storage.

I've also changed the type of this topic to be an Idea.

Hope this will help. Please update this topic if you have any questions. Thank you.

    Hi Nadine,

    thank you for your update.

The original sent/received email date captured in the EmDateSent and EmDateReceived columns.

To automatically capture this data please either use OnePlaceMail Email Library/Content type/Columns (which are available with the OnePlaceMail Sandbox Solution) or setup Custom Column Mapping (please refer to the Section 5.1 Custom Mapping of Email Attributes to Columns in the Admin Guide).

Hope this will help. Please update this topic if you have any questions or any assistance is required. Thank you.

    Hi Yoshi,

thank you for reporting this problem.

Could you please check the following:

    1) Open Library Settings

    2) Click on the "Attached" column

    3) Verify its internal name. Is it "Attachments" as in the following example?

    https://d37wxxhohlp07s.cloudfront.net/s3_images/861803/13-02-22_attachments.png?1361496333

If it is so then it's a SharePoint bug (unrelated to OnePlaceMail).

To fix this, please delete this column and recreate it with original (i.e. internal) name not equal to "Attachments".

Hope this will help. Please update this topic with a result. Thank you.

    Hi Timon,

thank you for reporting this problem.

Could you please confirm the issue is reproducible after workstation restart?

    If so, could you please:

    1) Uninstall OnePlaceMail

    2) Delete the Scinaptic folders under User/AppData (Local and Romaing folders)

    3) Delete the Scinaptic folder under C:\Program Files\ (or C:\Program Files (x86)\

    4) Install OnePlaceMail and try to reproduce the issue.

Please update this topic with a results. Thank you.

    Hi Eric,

thank you for reporting this problem.

As discussed during a call, by default new Document Set content type allows only the "Document" content type to be created.

To change this, please open Document Library Settings, click on the "Document set" in the content types list:

    https://d37wxxhohlp07s.cloudfront.net/s3_images/861154/13-02-21_ds1.png?1361403623

Click on the "Document Set Settings":

    https://d37wxxhohlp07s.cloudfront.net/s3_images/861155/13-02-21_ds2.png?1361403706

Add OnePlaceMail Email content type to the list of allowed content types and click OK:

    https://d37wxxhohlp07s.cloudfront.net/s3_images/861156/13-02-21_ds3.png?1361403790

After this OnePlaceMail Email Content Type will be available in a document set in this library:

    https://d37wxxhohlp07s.cloudfront.net/s3_images/861157/13-02-21_ds4.png?1361403896

Hope this clarifies. Please update this topic if you have any questions. Thank you.

    Hi Daniel,

    thank you for your question.

While we don’t provide specific language packs, the OnePlaceMail user interface can be customized in many different ways to provide a more localized user experience. We currently have clients who are using OnePlaceMail in Germany, France, Italy, Poland and Scandinavia.

Please follow this article for more details:

    Does OnePlaceMail support other languages?

Hope this will help. Please update this topic if you have any quesitons, I'll be happy to assist. Thank you.

    Hi Robert,

thank you for your question and update.

As SharePoint displays only single column value in this field OnePlaceMail can only display the same.

If you have this table (with company/contact and other columns) in some external DB, you may use SharePoint BCS to connect to it. In this case you’ll be able to see the values from several columns (depending on BCS settings) as in SharePoint as in OnePlaceMail.

Hope this will help. Please update the topic if you have any questions. Thank you.

    Hello Rob,

    thank you for your question.

As .msg file is already located in SharePoint this could be only done by some SharePoint solution which will parse .msg file and allow users to access attachments.

Please take a look at the following post Parse MSG files uploaded to SharePoint for some details regarding it.

As OnePlaceMail is MS Office add-in it can't help you with this task.

Regardless of this, this would be a nice enhancement to our software suite, I’ve added your idea to our backlog for further analysis and discussion. Thanks for the feedback.

Please update this topic if you have any questions. Thank you.

    Hi Sam,

    thank you for your question.

Sandboxed Solution should be uploaded to and activated on the portal site where you are going to create OnePlaceMail Email Library and/or use OnePlaceMail columns and content type.

Hope this will help. Please update this topic if you have any questions or any assistance is required. Thank you.

    Hi David,

    thank you for your question.

Currently it is only possible to upload multiple files (not including folders) to SharePoint through OnePlaceMail.

If you'd like to simply copy existing folders and files, you could use the "Open with Explorer" SharePoint feature:

    https://d37wxxhohlp07s.cloudfront.net/s3_images/856784/13-02-12_open_with_explorer.png?1360635317

which opens the library as a standard Windows Explorer folder allowing you to perform standard file operations.

Hope this will help. Please update this topic if you have any questions. Thank you.

    Hi Kim,

    thank you for your question.

Could you please restart the "Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Sandboxed Code" Service in Central Admnistration and\or restart the "SharePoint 2010 User Code Host" service in Windows Services and try to reproduce the issue.

If this won't help, please follow http://blogs.msdn.com/b/sharepointdev/archive/2011/02/08/error-the-sandboxed-code-execution-request-was-refused-because-the-sandboxed-code-host-service-was-too-busy-to-handle-the-request.aspx .

If this problem can't be reproduced by other users, the root cause of the issue could be in available memory on the user's machine.
