I realize this subject is over 3 years old, but I can't help but notice in the System window the user has 8GB of RAM, but is using a 32-bit operating system. 32-bit will not recognize more than 4GB of RAM, or in this user's case, 3.4GB (the other 0.6 is used by the IGP). Upgrade to a 64-bit operating system to release all 8GB of RAM, if you still have that laptop.

Hi Justin,
yes, this is expected and correct behaviour.

I saved a config_update.xml file to the path described above and when relaunching Outlook it disapears but when I check the config.xml file the action="insert" wording has not been added to it. I am guessing the config file should've updated?

Do I create a new file called "config_update.xml" and save it to:
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Scinaptic\OnePlaceMail
??

Hi Jason,
if you have OnePlaceMail Server Components installed, please apply the following config_update.xml to the problematic machine and retest the issue:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<configuration>
<sendToHandler>
<overrideWebRequest action="insert" enabled="true" />
</sendToHandler>
</configuration>
Please let me know about the results. Thank you.

Update: Okay so I lied when I said my last post was the final update......
After some more testing we experienced some more of the same OutOfMemoryException errors AND also some new "Unable to connect to the remote server errors":
https://d37wxxhohlp07s.cloudfront.net/s3_images/854040/RemoteConnectError1.png?1360113991
https://d37wxxhohlp07s.cloudfront.net/s3_images/854041/RemoteConnectError2.png?1360114001
We performed some fault testing on our infrastructure and have come to the conclusion that the problem lies with out Targus ACP71AUZ DIsplayLink Certified Docking Stations.
These docking station use a single USB 3.0 cable to connect all USB/Newtork/DIsplay input and output to the laptop. I have tested uploading with the network cable plugged directly into the laptopn, and also using wifi, and all of the errors experienced to date are nolonger appearing.
We have had others errors with the docks so we are not suprised by this error. However, is it possible that the error timeout/buffer in OnePlaceMail is perhaps set a bit low and if there is any momentary loss of network connectivity then it trows an error straight away instead of waiting a short period to see if connection is reestablished. I tested this therory by switching off the wifi and pulling out the network connection and OnePlaceMail threw the erro almost instantly.
Thoughts?

Update (final):
1. The Synaptic folders under User/AppData (Local and Romaing folders) were deleted,
2. The user's Windows profile was then renamed and re-created,
3. OnePlaceMail Add-in was re-installed
The problems now appear to have been rectified, however, I will continue to monitor the situation and let you know if it happens again.

Hi Llia
Here is the memory information for the problem PC:

Here is a comparison screenshot of my PC:
I note that my PC has less available memory but does not suffer from this transfer issue.
Here is a screenshot showing the PC specs for both PC's (they are exactly the saME):

Subseqently we have today suffered this error when dragging and dropping emails to a reasonably new document set (created on 18/01/2013):
https://d37wxxhohlp07s.cloudfront.net/s3_images/851721/Error.png?1359691907
I am going to remove the OnePlaceMail Add-in and re-install it all as there is absolutly something not right here.
Cheers
Justin

Hi Justin,
thank you for your answer.
If this problem can't be reproduced by other users, the root cause of the issue could be in available memory on the user's machine.
Could you please check how much memory remains free and consumed by Outlook on the problematic PC and PC which works fine?
Thank you.
