    Hi Moris,

you could also use our API/SDK to achieve required functionality.

Please download it (and documentation) for free from this page.

    Hope this will help.

    Ilia Zhukov commented  ·

    Hi Moris,

thank you for the detailed explanation of the problem.

Currently there are only three email formats for filename. We highly appreciate your feedback and will expand this functionality in one of the next releases.

Meanwhile you could use "Email Date" SharePoint column to sort all saved emails chronologically.

Please take a look at this article for the details:

What is the OnePlaceMail Sandbox Solution?

Please update this topic if you require any assistance in activating/configuring email columns in you environment.

    Thank you.

    Hi Vishwanath,

Thanks for the confirmation, I'm glad it works fine now.

Could you please check the following:

    1) The user is allowed to create new folders inside his/her personal mailbox (under Inbox folder).

    2) The user can successfully manage My OnePlaceMail folders (OnePlaceMail tab - Manage My OnePlaceMail Folders button) and save changes.

Please update this topic with the results. Thank you.

    Ilia Zhukov commented  ·

    Hi Vishwanath,

    thanks for the update.

Could you please also check do you have an appropriate level of access to create folders inside your personal mailbox?

    Hi Ian,

    thank you for your question.

This category is applied for the emails which have been deleted (moved to the "Deleted Items" folder) during drag & drop process.

    Hope this clarifies. Thank you.

    Hi Sven,

    thank you for your question.

Currently it's not possible to hide Content Type.

OnePlaceMail shows default content type or the content type from OnePlaceMail settings (if it exists in the library/list):

    https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/s3_images/927376/13-07-18_ct.png?1374113710

Regardless of this we highly appreciate your feedback. I'll escalate your enquiry for further consideration.

Please let me know if you have any questions by updating this topic. Thank you.

    Hi Sven,

    thank you for reporting this.

Could you please try the following:

    1) Uninstall OPM.

    2) Remove OPM from the three following places:

    a) Program Files directory

    b) Users\\AppData\Roaming

    c) Users\\AppData\Local.

    3) Repair Microsoft Office products and restart the PC.

    4) Install OPM using setup.exe (not .msi) file.

    Hi Russell,

Could you please provide additional details regarding your environment?

Are these standalone PCs or Citrix/VMs?

    What antivirus do you use?

Do you have any other Outlook add-ins installed?

    Thank you.

    Hi Martin,

    thank you for your question.

    Yes, OPM supports HTTPS protocol.

And yes, if the user has appropriate level of access to external SharePoint, OPM allows to save files/emails/attachments to it.

Hope this will help. Please update this topic if you have any questions. Thank you.

    Hi Jacinda,

    thank you for the clarification.

Have you restarted Outlook after turning off these checkboxes?

    Thank you.

    Ilia Zhukov commented  ·

    Hi Jacinda,

    thank you for your question.

OnePlaceMail prompts you for properties if there are mandatory fields in destination library.

Hope this clarifies. Please update this topic if you have any questions. Thank you.

    Hi Parul,

I'm glad to let you know Admin Guide has been fixed.

    Thank you.

    Ilia Zhukov commented  ·

    Hi Parul,

thanks for reporting the typo – we'll update our Admin Guide shortly.

Yes, currently there are only three ways of filename format. I'd recommend you to use the "Title" field which contains whole email subject.

    Hope this will help.

    Ilia Zhukov commented  ·

    Hi Parul,

    thank you for your questions.

Please follow the section "Customizing the email filename format" in the updated Admin guide

or use this file as example. Rename it to config_update.xml, put into %AppData%\Scinaptic\OnePlaceMail and restart Outlook.

    Hope this will help.

Regarding your second question, this was done intentionally to prevent users from changing sensitive email metadata and retain its integrity from the Records point of view.

Hope this clarifies. Please update this topic if you have any questions, I'll be happy to help you. Thank you.

thank you for the idea, I'll add it to our backlog for further consideration.

Currently you can right-click on the file, select Send to – SharePoint. This launches the OPM Favourites - Tree view allowing you do save pdf file to SharePoint.

Hope this will help. Please update this topic if you have any questions. Thank you.

    Hi Ian,

    thank you for your question.

Yes, it's possible to do this. Please follow the sections "Managing ‘Save to SharePoint’ prompt when adding attachments to emails" and "Managing ‘Save to SharePoint’ prompt when sending an email" in the updated Admin Guide to create config_update.xml file

and follow the example from the Enterprise Deployment Using Group Policy guide.
