Is there a possibility to keep the document attached when saving to SharePoint
If I have checked the Option "Prompt to Save to SharePoint when sending an email" an the document was saved to SharePoint the attachment is replaced with the link to the document on SharePoint.
Do I have the Option to disable this behaviour?
My customer wants to file the document but the email receipient has no Access to the Location where the document is stored.

Hi Michael
Thank you for clarifying your issue.
At the current time, this is not an option - however I have added this as a suggestion to our product back log for consideration.
Best practice is to send links, however appreciate this does not assist in the scenario you have described.
A possible work around, is to not select "would you like to save this to SharePoint" . This will leave the attachment - the user could then right click on the attachment after sending, and select "Copy to SharePoint"
I hope this helps, and I will update this thread as anything changes in this regard.
Kind regards
Elissa

Hi Elissa,
thank you for your reply.
No I would like to have the prompt activated but the processing of the document different.
After a document has been saved the attachment to the email is deleted and a Hyperlink to the document on SharePoint is placed into the email.
I would like to keep the attachment AND store the document on SharePoint.
Best solution would be to have an Option wherther the attachment is replaced or not.
best regards,
Michael

Hi Michael
Thank you for your inquiry.
Do you mean the 'Prompt to 'Save to SharePoint' when adding attachments to an email'? This can be turned on/off via OnePlaceMail Settings, Outlook

Please let me know if you have any further queries.
