Thanks for your feedback.
At this stage the app is in preview, so we aim to be adding to, and enhancing the features and capabilities that are available.
If you have the OnePlaceMail addin you should be able to view the eml messages that are stored in SharePoint - by browsing to the document library.
I do not have a definite time frame I can tell you right now as to when additional metadata will be available - but I will leave this thread open so we can update it as this feature becomes available.
Please let us know any other comments/thoughts you might have - we appreciate the feedback.
Kind regards

An error occurred while saving the comment Elissa commentedHey Olivia,
Just updating this thread, as this moved to email.
We can see there is an issue when the document ID setting is applied in OnePlaceMail and then copying the link from an email to word/excel document.
This is now placed on our backlog to be reviewed by the development team.
We'll update this thread once this has been resolved.
Kind regards

Recently uploaded emails can be viewed via the recents area of the Outlook Navigation pane.
Emails can also be located using search and or filtering feature via the OnePlaceMail ' Save to SharePoint' dialogue / SharePoint navigation tree.
Please find further information relating to search here: http://www.scinaptic.com/support/0132.html

Sorry you are still having difficultires.
The regedit value for loadbehavior should be 3.
Are you able to check at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE_\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins\OnePlaceMail if there is an entry here, please make sure it is a '3' as well.
If this does not help, please email me at mailto:support@oneplacesolutions.com and we can set up a screen share to further troubleshoot.
Kind regards

An error occurred while saving the comment Elissa commentedHi Paul
Thank you for your post.
Currently, OnePlaceMail will present libraries and lists that the user has read access to in SharePoint.
The ability to restrict the locations that appear is currently on our product backlog. I have made a note to update this thread once there has been any change in this area.

Thank you for your inquiry.
The column Em Has Attachment displays whether the email has an attachment included.
This can be accessed via opening the email, and then selecting the attachment.

Can you please confirm the version of OnePlaceMail you have installed?
Also, can you please confirm whether there are any managed metadata columns in this document library?
Upgrading to our latest release, R7.2 should resolve this issue.

Thanks for the updated information.
Could you please send a copy of the config.xml (found at (c:\users\\appdata\roaming\scinaptic\oneplacemail\ ) as well as a logging report (Set via Outlook, OnePlaceMail tab, OPM Settings, Outlook, and select "Enable Application Support Logging")
Once enabled, could you try to access the library in question via Outlook and generate the error.
You can locate this error report via the link in OPM settings. Please send both to mailto:customerservice@scinaptic.com

Are you able to provide a screen shot of the library in which you are trying to expand (via your browser), and confirm whether you can browse to this area directly in SharePoint.

Thank you for this information. There is no switch for this, nor anyway to configure this part of OnePlaceDocs. This can only be turned on/off in the settings dialogue box of OnePlaceDocs.

An error occurred while saving the comment Elissa commentedHi F
This is the default behaviour in Office to deal with attachments.
Sending an attachment as a link to the item in SharePoint, minimises data in Outlook and helps the file remain in SharePoint for collaboration.
if the file is sent as an attachment, then Word/Excel etc will open the attachment as read only.
There is no way to overwrite how Office handles the attachment.
If you have OnePlaceDocs, and open the file from the Docs Explorer, this will open the file in edit mode.

HI Ken
Apologies! We missed this one. The OLE error is a little obscure I am glad you found removing the InfoPath folders resolves this.
