Exception from reading manifest from file (VSTO)
Hi all,
After installing OnePlace Solutions (7.3) on newly configured laptops, we now get a strange error when opening Outlook, Word, Excel:

Hi Zeeshan,
We figured out what was causing the issue with oneplacemail and docs.
After we updated to a newer version of Microsoft tools for office (10.0.3 --> 10.0.6) and in unison the update we received from you (7.3.3), our issue was resolved.
Thank you for your time and patience with this ticket.
kind regards

Hi Jvlassak,
If registry keys are missing then definitely OnePlaceSolutions is not installing properly. Although, you have added the registry keys manually, there are other registry keys which sets up the load behaviour of OnePlaceMail are also probably missing.
Can you please tell me how are you installing OnePlaceMail? are you using the MSI file or EXE file?
For testing purpose can you please take one laptop/PC, Uninstall OnePlaceSolutions products and then download the setup file from the link below.
http://www.oneplacesolutions.com/download-clients.html
You will have to fill up a small form in order to download the setup file.
Please let me know how you go with this
kind regards,
Zeeshan

Dear Zeeshan,
I tried your suggestion but it didn't resolve the problem.
I tried adding the registry keys manually, and this did resolve the problem although oneplace doesn't start automatically along with the program.
I can confirm that the missing registry keys are the problem. Is there a known issue that removes them from the registry?

Dear Zeeshan,
As a colleague of Kenny, I will be taking over this ticket until it is resolved.
I followed your instructions and installed a fresh copy of oneplacesolutions after I removed everything according to your instructions.
Unfortunately this didn't resolve the issue. The error keeps occurring when opening or starting Excel Word and Outlook.
Kind regards,
Jo

Hi Kenny,
Thank you for your inquiry.
Can you please uninstall all OnePlaceSolutions Products completely and delete OnePlacesolution folder from C:\Program Files (x86)
Give your laptop a restart and check in control panel if program is uninstalled.
Please can you download OnePlaceSolutions Suite from the link
http://www.oneplacesolutions.com/download-clients.html
Please run the setup file.
After installation please try to test OnePlaceDocs from Word, Excel, Powerpoint
Please let me know how you go with this
