Allow users to check for a new version easily?
I would love a "Check for Updates" feature.

Hi Adam,
I'm glad to let you know this feature is now available:

Good point. In the example of an organization of 3000 users I would want the 'check for updates' to still show, but to tell me it is controlled by the IT dept and therefore disabled.
That is consistent with Windows features that are disabled via group policy. Windows Update is one such example.

Hi Adam,
Thank you for your suggestion. The idea has been asked previously by a few of our clients and the development is currently on our backlog for a future release.
I really like the idea for our free Express edition users where it's an individual user who has downloaded and installed the software. However, I have some concern about adding this capability to the Enterprise edition due to many of our Customers having Standard Operating Environments (SOE). I can image an organisation of 3000 or more users being alerted of new updates but having no control to download and install the update.
I would be interested in your feedback.
