Hi Elissa - thankfully we appear to have figured this one out. The issue was a single confidential 'parent' site that had non confidential sub sites. Once all staff were given access to the parent site (but not it's contents), the entire tree for all 200+ parent sites expanded fine. All of our other 200+ parent sites were either open already or, if not, had confidential child sites as well. Phew! :).

Hi Jenny
Thank you for your inquiry.
I am still here :)
Can you please enable logging, via OnePlaceMail Settings, and carry out the steps to generate this error.
Please send the logfile through to mailto:support@oneplacesolutions.com for review.
Kind regards

We are seeing the same issue with some users when attempting to map libraries in sites below one of our 3 site collections (SharePoint 2013). Permissions are confirmed as in place and they can navigate through the Site Collection via the browser AOK. I realise that Elissa has moved on but keen to know if there is a record of what was the resolution was in Adams instance?
With fingers crossed...

My windows login is different from the sharepoint login. regardless, I entered the sharepoint login information in the CREDENTIALS tab, but it still errors out. I also put information in the PROXY tab although I am not sure what tab it pulls from to "open" the site. I am able to "launch" the site by entering that data in setting.
My goal is to fill out a list form and copy a email with attachments into the document library. The copy procedure needs to open the location and that is the step it is failing.

Yes, sorry, the same as when logged into Windows. If you use one set of credentials to log into Windows, and another to log into SharePoint, please try to add the SharePoint credentials in the OnePlaceMail dialogue box.
Thanks

Dont understand..."machine" Do you mean logging into windows? Please also note we use sharepoint via a hosted server...i think that matters if i read a post correctly.

Hi Adam,
Could you please confirm you are using the same credentials when logging into the machine,as you use to access SharePoint?
If these credentials differ, please enter the SharePoint credentials at OnePlaceMail Settings --> Credentials.
Please let me know how you go.
Kind regards

Hi Bill and Elissa (yes, me again!)...I am experiencing the same error - its a 401 unauthorized error. Its not asking me for name and pw data and its does not seem to be following the credentials I entered into the OPM settings tabs.
I followed the referened KB. I can get in via on the launch button, but not the open folders button - it connects, but does then gives error loading folders?
thoughts?.

Good Morning Elissa,
Thank you for your reply.
This is a strange issue. It works perfectly for me as a farm admin.
When another user who has member (edit) access to sharepoint tries to load the lists and libraries the error occurs.
If i temporarily make this user a farm admin it works fine.
