Adding emails to Matter Sets (errors in dictionary)
When adding emails to Matter Sets in Outlook the following error is encountered:
https://d37wxxhohlp07s.cloudfront.net/s3_images/807325/OnePlaceMailerror.png?1350864474
This occurs for all metdata fields for the OnePlaceMail Email content type in the SharePoint site. This has only recently occureed and was not evident during testing. We have replicated error on four different machines with both Contributors and Full Access owner accounts.
Any help would be apprecaited :)
Cheers
Justin

Hmmm...this is strange because the column "name" that appears in the error is not one of the column names in the email content type (see below).

We checked all other content types on the site and none of them have column names like that which appear in the error message. I'll let you know what happens when our dev guys finish their investigations.

Hi Justin,
thank you for you reply.
Unfortunately we were not able to find the way to reproduce this issue. If you open two columns with the same name (while content type is opened) you'll see they have the same URL which is forbidden by SharePoint.
800+ email should not cause this problem neither.
If you find any clue, please update this topic, we'll be happy to hear from you!
Thank you!

Hi Ilia
Thank you for the super quick response!!
I've got the IT boffins on the case now, could you provide some insight as to what may have caused this to happen?
We had a user try and drag 800+ emails across in one go, do think this might have contributed to the problem?
Cheers
Justin

Hi Justin,
thank you for reporting the problem.
The root cause of this issue is in the Content Type corruption. If you open your library settings and click on the "OnePlaceMail Email" content type you could find duplicates of the columns, despite they are not displayed on the Document Library Settings page.
To fix this issue, please delete unnecessary duplicates manually or using PowerShell script.
Hope this will help. Please update this topic with the results. Thank you in advance.
