Lookup Fields give false second option

When using those selection fields where you select a specific dataset, when uploading an Email to SharePoint we have the following problem:

After having selected the value, another selection box appears, which makes no sense, as only one value may be selected.

    Hi Elissa,

    thanks for your answer. Although it does not seem very logical, as you can't select another value, if the field is limited to one. So if you made a mistake, you have to press the little x symbol to the left of the chosen value. So perhaps this can be reconsidered for a change in an upcoming release - if i didn't misunderstand something.

    We have left the ability to further edit the field after it has been selected, in the event that an incorrect item is accidentally selected.
