Unable to add/modify metadata on Library items after enabling OnePlaceMail?
Hello Scinaptic Staff and Community!
We've been quite happy with the OnePlaceMail plugin overall, however a user brought a rather large issue to my attention as we were testing a newly created site.
Here's the issue:
On Site A, "Shared Documents" is configured to have 2 views, the standard default view, and one that shows mostly email related columns so that emails and standard files may be stored in the same library w/o having to look at all the metadata from either eMails or all-else.
Both files and email can be input into the Library by standard upload and OnePlaceMail (OPM) plugins respectively.
The issue is only evident when trying to modify or add metadata to any file in the Library, attempting to do so does 2 things.
1) throws the error seen below
2) the metadata is NOT saved; this is a large problem.
Here's a cap of the error:

We're fairly certain that the behavior has something to do with how the "Attached" column is configured, but beyond that all attempts at a fix have thus far been fruitless.
Here are some caps showing how the Library is configured:
https://d37wxxhohlp07s.cloudfront.net/s3_images/860485/Err1.jpg?1361301102 (standard/default view)
https://d37wxxhohlp07s.cloudfront.net/s3_images/860486/Err2.jpg?1361301152 (attempting to edit metadata)
https://d37wxxhohlp07s.cloudfront.net/s3_images/860488/ErrColumns.jpg?1361301190 (column descriptions)
At this point the only left thing we have not tried, is to disable the ability to view Attachement names altogether. And in so doing, would remove a good part of the functionality that was the point of the endeavor in the first place.
Note that this Library has NOT had any email migrated via the OPM plugin yet (we were purposefully trying to eliminate any variables we could).
HELP! I'm hoping that those more experience might show me where our hiccup/mistake/error/oversight is.
We've never encountered any errors similar so we hope to prevail upon more experienced folk for advisement!
Thanks in advance to any who might shed some light!

Hi Yoshi,
thank you for reporting this problem.
Could you please check the following:
1) Open Library Settings
2) Click on the "Attached" column
3) Verify its internal name. Is it "Attachments" as in the following example?
https://d37wxxhohlp07s.cloudfront.net/s3_images/861803/13-02-22_attachments.png?1361496333
If it is so then it's a SharePoint bug (unrelated to OnePlaceMail).
To fix this, please delete this column and recreate it with original (i.e. internal) name not equal to "Attachments".
Hope this will help. Please update this topic with a result. Thank you.
