Error on starting Outlook with favourites.
Hi, in the last week or so I have had this problem. When starting Outlook, using version OPM 7.5.1, OUtlook gives the following error on start.
An error has occurred refreshing 'Favorites'
Error: The operation failed.
Application: Microsoft Outlook
Method: Void setWebViewURL(System.String)
Stack Trace: at Microsoft.Office.Interop.Outlook.MAPIFolder.setWebViewURL(String WebViewURL)
at FileToWSSOutlookAddIn.ThisAddIn.RefreshOutlookFoldersFromConfigFile(Boolean startUp)
I followed some suggestions of clearing favourites, but when I click "clear" I get this error below. I know of a few people who have the same issue as me. Any ideas what to do?
The OnePlaceMail Outlook add-in encountered an unexpected issue.
Error: Unable to cast COM object of type 'System._ComObject' to interface type 'Microsoft.Office.Core.IRibbonUI'. This operation failed because the QueryInterface call on the COM component for the interface with IID '{000C03A7-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}' failed due to the following error: Library not registered. Hi Daniel,
Thank you for providing update.
If after updating to latest release you still get the error then can you please try to delete OnePlaceMail.PST for the user? Please ensure user is on release 7.5.2 and only one version of OnePlaceMail/Docs and office is installed on the machine. Please follow below steps.
1. Go to File-->Account settings-->account settings-->Data files and remove OnePlaceMail PST
2. Close Outlook and then navigate to C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\OnePlaceSolution and delete OnePlaceMail.pst file
3. Reopen Outlook, (PST will be created automatically) and see if issue still occursThanks

Update: I went to C$\users\**username**\AppData\Local\OnePlace Solutions (users original machine). Copied the contents of the file to the same location in the users profile in the new device. Saved over the top of it & restarted outlook which started up without any errors.
*Not sure if you can use just anyone's files (incase you don't have access to that users previous folder) but it worked for me.
