Ability to override the Sharepoint root URL
Need the ability to set or over ride the Sharepoint root URL. I signed in with company O365 credentials and got access denied due to how they setup sharepoint. If I could set the root url, I could ensure that I did have access.

Hi All
This item is still under review, however to update – if users receive this error they do not have access to the root site collection in SharePoint. If possible, please give users read access to the root site. We have flagged this as an item to be reviewed to remove this requirement.

One of my clients is also experiencing this issue where their SharePoint Root URL is showing up as Blank and is unable to be changed to anything else.

Looks like the url is set to the mailbox account. If the mailbox domain and sharepoint domain dont match this wont work.

Same Problem here.
Outllok choose for me the Sharepoint Root URL and I can't change it... -

When you attempt to save to SharePoint are you able to see "Show Locations For..." are you able to see the location you are trying to get to?kind regards
