Import old emails into SharePoint with new OnePlace column data.
How do you import old emails saved in sharepoint to include the OnePLace columns? I assume there is no automated way to do this and you have to re-import, but I tried using the OPD explorer but the columns did not get filled in.

Hi Joshua
Thanks for this, yes this would work for an email that is in Outlook.
Can you please try these steps
1. Open the library with Windows Explorer or sync with OneDrive
2. Drag and drop the emails into a subfolder into Outlook.
3. From the subfolder in Outlook, drag/drop back to the document library. This will populate the columns in your library.
Please let us know if you have any further issues.
Kind regards
Elissa

Yes, the library works fiine when saving new emails sent or received from outlook. I set it up with the OnePlace sandbox solution so it has OPMEmails with all of the columns.

Hi Joshua
Thanks for your inquiry.
This is correct, you do need to save the emails into a library where there are email columns added.
Are you able to confirm whether these libraries have an email content type, or email columns added to them?
Kind regards
Elissa
