OnePlaceMail not loading in Outlook

Hi,

One one client PC OnePlaceMail is not loading in Outlook. I have installed the latest version 6.4.2 but still nothing.

I followed the KB from Scinaptic en now when I try to enable OnePlaceMail and I see the error shown below.

I thought it had something to do with VSTO but I have installed this, repaired it, nothing...

Any idea?

    Hi All

    The resolution below is out of date (2013). If you have a current support contract or subscription for OnePlaceMail / OnePlaceDocs please submit a support request on our website for assistance.
    To amend the instructions below:

    -Close OnePlaceDocs/Outlook completely (File > Exit in OnePlaceDocs, otherwise it will stay in your taskbar)
    -In Windows Explorer, navigate to ‘%appdata%\OnePlace Solutions\’ (enter this in the address bar in Windows Explorer without the single quotes)
    -Delete any of the *.XML files that either:
    --Cannot be opened with Notepad
    --Are completely empty when opened with Notepad
    -Re-open OnePlaceDocs/Outlook

    Hi there,

    I know this is an old thread, but surely there is a way to resolve this without having to wipe all traces of OPM and having to perform a repair of Office.

    We have the majority of our staff working offsite due to COVID-19, so this approach is far from ideal.

    Is this being caused by a corruption to the system.xml file being used by OPM?It would be good to get to the bottom of this.

    Hi Sven,

    thank you for reporting this.

    Could you please try the following:

    1) Uninstall OPM.

    2) Remove OPM from the three following places:

    a) Program Files directory

    b) Users\\AppData\Roaming

    c) Users\\AppData\Local.

    3) Repair Microsoft Office products and restart the PC.

    4) Install OPM using setup.exe (not .msi) file.
