James - is this the version we need to interoperate with Sharepoint and Office 2013 ?

    Elissa

The User has all the relevant permissions. I am using OPM here to perform a bulk check of a group of files. The view is a sharepoint window utilising the Explorer view. Thsi displayed files are actutally checked out - to that user.

This normally works Ok as a great OPM workaround. Does this shed any more light

We are currently using 6.2 Build 24.0.17 - Outlook 2010 - I can get the other data later on if required.

Out systems guy - who is not a Sharepoint/OPM expert has said "we will need some guidance from Scinaptic about a license file we can use ? can we use the same license file that gets used for the Office 2010 installations... most of our staff are using Office 2010s version of One Place Mail with the license file setup in the SCCM 2007 installation

    Does htis assist ?

Thanks - vbut this not quite what I meant - the feature above is great for document coming in but...

I thought there was a a facility where groups of documents - already within a library could be checked in - in one operation - all being classified with the same metadata

We have OPM I wanted to know if for soem reason people have imported (not with OPM) and left large numbers checked out - whether OPM could be used to do a bulk ceck in and classification

Great - that will work as a filter

Can I assume the email field to be added (as hidden fields to the content type) are the em------ fields as per the admin manual eg EmSubject, EmTo, EmCC, EmFrom etc

Or do we just use the natural names - thanks again

    Ilia

The icon is useful however we need to develop a specific email view that is different to corporate document view - it will show the populated hidden email fields - to, from, attachments etc

We need to do this as we cannot change the corporate views just add an email view

Icon (type) is not available as a filter field.

is their another field that is populated by msg storage that we can get access to - for filtering purposes

    you are a superstar

so we can add the required fields (as hideen) and they will be populated by a simple drag to the document library.

just one further question - how do we develop a view to filfer by msg type - i know we can filter by icon

    many thanks

Thanks Ilia - if we add the appropriate columns - eg to, from, subject, attachments, as per your requirments - can they be added hideen format so they dont appear on the load form ?

Again we cannot effect standard document entry
