An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment Nadine McMahon commentedHi Elissa, I've forwarded that separately.
Thanks!
An error occurred while saving the comment Nadine McMahon commentedGood thinking, however, I have just checked and the "Email To" field is set to "Multiple lines of text".
Is that the right field?
An error occurred while saving the comment Nadine McMahon commentedYes, in the example email there are multiple recipients in the To field, including email address groups, and individuals.
Regards, Nadine

An error occurred while saving the comment Nadine McMahon commentedHi Ilia
Thanks for the info, but my comment was more to agree with Dan's suggestion, and to add that it would be useful for the created/modified fields in SP to reflect the send/receive date of an email as well as a saved attachment.
I'd previously been advised ( http://community.scinaptic.com/oneplacemail/topics/from_and_received_options ) this wasn't possible with, and we'd created a workaround. When you have libraries where emails and documents are mixed together you don't always want to display the email attribute columns, as these are not relevant to the documents, so it would be useful for a standard field like create or modified to be overwritten with the original "create" date of the email.
This seemed to be what Dan was suggesting for documents saved from an email, so I thought I'd add that it would be useful for emails as well. Excuse me if I got the wrong end of the stick.
Thanks for your quick reply.
An error occurred while saving the comment Nadine McMahon commentedAgree with Dan, this would be useful.
We would also be interested in seeing the original sent/received email date captured as well, as the date is often a key way people identify emails, and not having this once the email was moved to SP was a key blocker for our users.
We have developed this in-house, but see a lot of value in this being the default behaviour.

An error occurred while saving the comment Nadine McMahon commentedIs there any way to make this work for SharePoint system fields?
For example: When an email is saved to SharePoint (document set) we would like the Modified date to reflect the Email Received Date, rather than the date it was saved to SP.
We store emails in the same document set as other documents that are created from content types within SharePoint, so we need to display the Modified date (system generated) as well.
Thanks!
As communicated separately by email, you advised that the Email Conversation index (EmConversationIndex) column should be changed from Single line of text to Multiple line of text.
Once changed this allowed the email to be saved as required.
Many thanks for your assistance and follow-up!
