    Currently special characters are stripped from the upload process. To work around this issue, please create a config_update.xml file and include a regex statement. An example of this can be found on page 59 of the Administration guide, which can be found here: http://www.scinaptic.com/support/oneplacemail-administrator-guide.html

    In Outlook please select File, Options, Add ins, in the drop down box labelled Manage COM Addins, please select 'Disabled Items'

    Can you please confirm whether FileToWSSOutlookAddin is appearing here? If so, please enable this.

    In the event that claims based authentication is enabled and anonymous access, OnePlaceMail will return this error.

    Can you please confirm the version of SharePoint you are using?

    is it possible to turn off anonymous access for this web application?

    Link list types are not automatically presented in the SharePoint navigation tree.

    This can however be added by a config_update.xml modification.

    This would be a custom list definition, where the link list template ID is added to the configuration file.

    Detailed instructions for this can be found on page 54 of the Administration Guide.

    An email is uploaded to SharePoint as a .msg file.

    As .msg file are opened by Outlook, this is the application that will open the file.

    Using OnePlaceMail Enterprise, you are able to preview stored emails within Outlook.

    SharePoint will open the email in a separate window.

    This is a temporary directory, which is emptied upon Outlook being closed.

    If you would like to reuse the same document name, you are able to change this in the Save to SharePoint dialogue box, and select "Manage Files".

    As the OnePlaceMail licence is based on a list ID on the server, you will need to request a new license to be issued for the new SharePoint server.
    If you would like to remove users from the existing list, please browse to your licence list on SharePoint, and manually remove the users who are no longer using OnePlaceMail.

    Please follow these steps for a new licence key:

    1. Create new list on new SharePoint site http://www.scinaptic.com/support/0077.html
    2. Obtain new list ID http://www.scinaptic.com/support/0063.html
    3. Email mailto:customerservice@scinaptic.com with new List ID
    4. Attach new key. {step 3}  http://www.scinaptic.com/support/0068.html
    5. Update your client installations with new List URL
