Make it possible that "owerwrite exising document is always on
Cause if you have tagged the document after finding the right location and you hit "save" and the error goes "this document already exist" then you need to do the operation all over again. We would like this option to always be "on"

Bluebeam Plugin
There are a lot users within our organization that use Bluebeam as their preferred PDF editor. The one downside is the lack of a OnePlaceDocs plugin. Is there any way to add the plugin to Bluebeam?

How do I hide sharepoint libraries / lists in a oneplace connection?
New to using OnePlace. My role is as an end user support person from an information management perspective not IT.
When my users add a connection to sharepoint via oneplacedoc explorer they can see libraries and lists that are not visible to them when in sharepoint. (they are lists and libraries that are only accessed via the Site Contents which end users do not have access to.)
From OnePlace, in settings > navigation I have checked the Hide System Lists and Libraries box and restarted the application but these lists and libraries are still visible.
My users are not able…

Lookup metadata for documents - search "starts with" and not "contains"
Hi,
Some of our metadata fields for documents are based on lookup lists.
When saving a document, we need to add some metadata. For lookup lists, when entering the beginning of the metadata term that is present in the lookup list, then we find the metadata we want. But when we enter a piece of the metadata from a term inside the lookup list, then we find nothing.
For example:
lookup list consist of:
New York
Los Angeles
Toronto
When entering "New" then there is an auto-complete for "New York"
When entering "York", we find nothing but we would expect…

Content types for "new button" in OnePlaceDocs explorer
Hi all,
We've noticed that in the OnePlaceDocs explorer the 'new' button only gives us the possibility to add a "map" or "document set". It would be very usefull if this 'new' button could show the content types available in the selected list/library, so we can create a "standard document e.g. Word document".
Kind regards,
Kenny

Removing the + from beside document libraries that have no folders/document sets
One thing that I have found when training staff, is that they will instinctively try and click on the + to expand. This shows up beside document libraries even when there are no folders within the library. It would be great if the + did not appear beside document libraries that have no folders in them, so that staff can more easily understand they just need to click on the name of the document library.

Is there a way to have different metadata when uploading multiple documents through OnePlaceDocs?
When uploading multiple documents to SharePoint through OnePlaceDocs, there doesn't appear to be a way to change metadata on individual documents.
We are migrating from a network file share to SharePoint and this will make the transition difficult.
Thanks in advance.
2 votesWe like this idea too – this is on our roadmap for a future release.

'New' in OnePlace Docs Explorer Missing List of Content Types
When clicking on 'New' in OnePlace Docs Explorer, the only option we are given is 'New Folder or Document Set', even when these Content Types are not available in the SharePoint document library. The Content Types for the same library will show up in the Document Information Panel when saving an email with OnePlace Mail, how do we make these same options appear for the 'New' options in OnePlace Docs Explorer? (They are available from 'New' as buttons in the SharePoint document library) https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/s3_images/1287693/oneplacedocscontenttypes.png?1444014268
0 votesCurrently the “New” button in the ribbon relates to creating a new location (folder or document set) for document libraries. To expand this to include creating a new content type – is on our product backlog.
Also, just a note – If you viewing a List, when you select the “New” button, this will allow you to create a new list item.

Unable to open MS Word files in Adobe Products using OnePlaceDocs
Our admin staff frequently use Adobe Acrobat Pro to manipulate and combine multiple MS Word files into one PDF. Doing this natively from within the Adobe product (by pasting a link to the SP library in the file browser dialog) opens the MS Word file as a temp ‘pdf’ which can then be manipulated as required or they can be individually opened from the ‘combine files’ dialog box. It is easy to then save the pdf to their SharePoint library using OnePlaceDocs (great) but they would also like to easily open the MS Word files without having to find the…

configure default file type for office files
We are using OnePlace Docs to save files in SharePoint directly from the office applications (Word, Excel).
We developed some word templates with macros, our file extension in this case is ".dotm".
While saving this file to SharePoint by OnePlaceDocs, we were asked about the file name and the file extension.
We are able to choose ."docm" and ".docx" as the file extension for this macro word file. When we save the file with the ".docm" extension, everything is working fine, because the scripts are retained. By saving the file as ".docx", the custom scripts will be lost.
Unfortunately ".docx"…1 vote -
How OnePlaceDocs handles document library "Link" type
I wish I could tell you this is a small problem but it's not. It's huge.
OnePlace Documents treats differently the formal Sharepoint document library type called "Link".
I have a "Link" item which points to an external url (such as youtube).
When accessing the Sharepoint document library via a browser clicking on the default SP "Name" field correctly loads the external link.
When accessing the Sharepoint document library via OnePlaceDocs, the link simply loops back to the Sharepoint item.
I would guess that this is not considered a defect by OnePlace but rather "that's how it works."
The practical…

Images Solution
Hello,
We have been looking around for a solution to make images in SP Picture Libraries more user-friendly, and we have not found anything that currently ticks our boxes (e.g. tried asking Bamboo Solutions)... so I was wondering if it would be something that could be considered for product development.. We give users the workaround of opening the libraries with explorer to engage with images (e.g. select> right click> print etc.). Unfortunately this has resulted in staff accidentally deleting images from SP. It would be great if OPD could offer an image viewing and interaction solution, that gives users the…1 vote -

Acrobat DC support?
For some reason, we are unable to get the one place solution ribbon to appear in acrobat DC. It worked great in acrobat 10, but there is no trace of it in DC. The release list for 7.1 said that it was supported and we are currently on 7.4. How do you configure acrobat DC to work with oneplacesolutions?

Hyperlink from "Insert from SharePoint" breaks when copy/pasted into Word
Hello,
One of our internal customers was copying text from an email that contained links that someone had inserted using "Insert from SharePoint" (as link) into a Word document. However, we have discovered some odd behavior when you click the link to open the document...
When links are inserted into an email using OnePlace, they are formatted as follows
http://[server name]/site/gallerymuseum/_layouts/15/DocIdRedir.aspx?ID=UA6W2YUDAPZ7-11-591
I have checked, and copy/paste does not change the link at all. When you click on the pasted link, it opens the correct document, but you notice that the document name is not as it should be. The name…

OnePlace PDF printer ?
Hi, is there a development for a PDF printer, so we can 'print' PDF's to Sharepoint form non OPM or OPD compatible programs.
We are you PDFXchange as our default PDF Editor/viewer but cannot use OnePlace as our plugin to Sharepoint.
I know we can send to Sharepoint from Explorer, but that's an workaround.
A PDF printer would be far more efficient and support all kind op applications.....
Just an idea !!

Can OnePlaceDocs be used in trial mode?
I just upgraded from OPM 6.x to 7 and do not have a key yet.
I see the ribbon options in Outlook but not in Word / Excel / PPT. Is it supposed to be possible to use it without a license?
Thanks

How can I narrow search results (if at all possible) using oneplacedocs explorer?
I've got oneplacedocs explorer linked to a dossier in SharePoint (containing hundreds of pdf files), I'm able to search all these files' contents, but most of the time I get way too many results (in the hundreds). Is there a way to narrow or filter the results in oneplacedocs explorer?
0 votesThis should be configured in SharePoint to reduce the search scope.
Also, its possible to set up location search or content search using OnePlaceLive – where the search can be refined.
Further information can be found here: http://www.oneplacesolutions.com/help/7.4/ops/solprofile/solprof_contentsearch.htm
