  2. Moving to a new PC. Any way to export OnePlaceMail Lite Settings on old PC and import on the new one?

    It sure would be nice to have all of my favorite doc libraries from the old system w/o having to start from scratch manually. Any help greatly appreciated!

    How do I move license from on premises to Office 365 so I can use OnePlace on my laptop as well as on the office, or how to access on-premises licensing from laptop?

  4. Config_update.xml file on Windows Server 2008 R2

    Hi,

    Where should I place the config_update.xml file on Windows Server 2008 R2? The documentation refers to WindowsXP\Vista\7\8 but not Windows Server 2008 R2.

  5. OPM Lite 7 msi deployment?

    OPM Express 6 used to have an msi for deployment. Noticed that OPM 7 does not (exe file). Any chance of getting an msi to aid deployment. I have a client with 2 remote offices in North Western Qld (don't really want to drive out there :))

  6. I need to downgrade demo trial version to lite version immediately

    I have downloaded the trial version of OPS7. I need to urgently show clients what they get with OPM Lite 7. Can I downgrade the fully functional trial version to the Lite version immediately without waiting the 30 days?

    I suspect this is not possible - so can someone answer this:

    Two important features in OPM Express 6


    1. Save to SharePoint button added to the Outlook ribbon


    2. Save to SharePoint added to the context (right click) in Windows Explorer


    Are BOTH features available in OPM Lite 7 (esp Explorer save to SP)?

  7. msg file not found on upload

    I have installed the software on a Win7 (64 Bit) machine with Office 2013 (32 Bit). The SharePoint solution is installed on a SP 2010 machine in a cloud environment. The connection has been tested and works.

  8. Hide the windows which indicates that the email has been transfered

    Hi Team,

    When we copy an email to sharepoint with OPM ( 6.1.1), a message is displayed at the end to inform that the email has been well transfered (or not).

    Is it possible to hide this message, as we have to click on "Close" each time. (Do we have something to configure in the config file to hide this message ?)

  9. Why cant i search for folders in our sharepoint in outlook? I can save but that is all.

    I see on the demo you should be able to search and look at files within Outlook 2016 (our files have moved to Microsoft 365 cloud). Is there anyway to enable this?

  10. Remote User connection to Sharepoint Via Exchange

    So far i like the solution, but we have several outsides sales reps.. 50. When outside the domain, how do the users use the program? The connection between outlook and sharepoint is not active ... Unless our VPN is open. This is not possible 24 7.

  11. Release 7.3 (Oh God...Not again)

    Thanks for the update Elissa. Nice to see the company listening to their customers.

    But I don't see any easy way to update OPM Lite from 7.2 to 7.3. The logical place to find such a feature is from Outlook > Oneplacemail > About > Check for updates.

    The only way I see is to (1) uninstall R7.2 Lite, (2) install the full featured suite R7.3, (3) then after 30 days uninstall that and (4) re-install 7.3 Lite.

    Surely not!!!! The last time there was an upgrade, we complained loudly that this was a ridiculous waste of time. And you…

  12. Help Needed - Lite version installation faults with "Generic Trust Issues"

    I'm unable to successfully install either the One Place 30 day demo version or Lite version. I previously had successfully installed the demo version a few months ago which expired. Fault I receive during the installation is "Generic Trust Issues". I did ensure the earlier demo version was removed from my Programs listing after it had expired. Is there something else I must do prior to installing the Lite version? Thanks.

  13. Using short permalinks a links in emails

    Hello, I'm new to OnplaceMail and perform so trials. We are using a custom Document Id (Guid) and create a short permalink in an additional field. The permalinks looks like gotoDoc:docId=xysu12233.

    Can I configure OnplaceMail in such a way that the "short permalink" out of the additional field is included as link in the email rather than the full string generated behind the doc Id which has the physical location info included?

    Hi,

    I'm looking for a way to allow file replacement (ideally without confirmation) while uploading file with an existing name.

    Is it possible in OnePlaceMail/OnePlaceDocs 7.3.3 ?

    I saw this proposal : http://community.oneplacesolutions.com/oneplacemail/topics/useoneplacemaileverytimeisaveoverwritefilesbydefault but it is 3 years old. Do you know if this settings has been implemented since?

  15. Upgrade OPM Lite to 7.4 (Yeah :)) - But how?

    Well here we go again.....

    As much as we love OPML, and love a free upgrade even more, why do you need to make it so difficult?

    Can you please explain the easiest way to upgrade from OPML 7.3 to 7.4?

  16. Mails with identical Name and different content

    Hello,

    we receive mails with identical sender, subject and sent time but with different content. OnePlaceMail rejects saving all of them into SharePoint because it classifies them as double mails. How is it possible to achive these mails into SharePoint?

  17. Getting error when I drag & drop an email to a SharePoint folder

    Hi Folks,

    When I drag & drop an email on to one of my SharePoint folders in Outlook OnePlaceMail comes up with it's dialog box. I click the Save button and it starts to save the email. The email is saved on to our SharePoint server but doesn't have any of the attributes I've defined for it. Also I get the error "Cannot access a closed Stream."

  18. Error saving e-mail over the Internet

    Hi,

    using express version of the software, sometimes during saving operation appears the following error

    "The underlying connection was closed: a connection that was expected to be kept alive was closed by the server"

    Really it happens working connected to the LAN of only one customer of ours.

    Do you have any idea about it?

  19. no template in site collection after installing and activating the sharepoint sandbox solution

    We want to test OnePlaceMail and installed and activated the sharepoint sandbox solution. Also we changed the security settings according to your explanations in the internet explorer. Unfortunately the solution does not show up in the site collection. We have Office 365.

  20. The selected location is currently unavailable

    Hi,

    I get the message "The selected location (on the left) is currently unavailable" when I try to select one of the library of my site location.

    Everything goes OK with default library "Document" but as far as we created some other libraries like e.g. "Work Documents", it doesn't work. Nevertheless in windows explorer both libraries (Document and Work Documents) shows as being the same (look like folders).
