2. Problem saving documents to SharePoint

   Hi,

   I am getting below error while saving email attachment to document library:

   "There was problem refreshing OPM recent locations. Cannot create the folder"

   The documents gets uploaded/copied correctly. But keep on getting the above error whenever I copy documents to SharePoint.

   Any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

4. What is the meaning of "OnePlaceMail Deletion" in the Outlook categories column

   A couple of emails that have been transfeerred to Sharepoint via OPM have now the following text in the Categories column - I cant find an explanation of the meaning of this comment - can you clarify for me please

6. OnePlaceMail not loading in Outlook

   Hi,

   One one client PC OnePlaceMail is not loading in Outlook. I have installed the latest version 6.4.2 but still nothing.

   I followed the KB from Scinaptic en now when I try to enable OnePlaceMail and I see the error shown below.

   I thought it had something to do with VSTO but I have installed this, repaired it, nothing...

   Any idea?

7. Can I customize the E-mail filename format?

   Hi,

   First, I'd like to say that the OnePlaceMail software is something which In my mind was so much missing on the market to make the SharePoint at least the option to consider when selecting document management platform. Until now, everything what I've immagined that the tool can do was at the right place, easy to set up and easy to work with. However I've came across some difficulties with setting up a proper filename when uploading an item to the SharePoint.

   I'm trying to customize the e-mail filename format in a way that it would add a creation date string at the beginning of the filename in the format "YYYYMMDD"

   I have found this in the administration user guide:

   However, according to the guide the format can be set up to one of the three options (where the last one is closest to what I'd like to achieve - example "2008-10-2421-01-23Jim Smith_Weekly Project Update")

   As you can see, the problem is that the date/time format is in this case "YYYY-MM-DD"

   I have even tried the illegal character stripping from filenames also mentioned in the guide. I'm not able to get it work (config section provided):

   <![CDATA[[-]]]>

   And even if this is working it would probably not solve my issue as this feature inserts "_" instead of specified characters. The problem is, that until now everyone in my team has been using filename format starting with the "YYYYMMDD" followed by other characters. They have been able to sort out items chronologically in the windows explorer. When they upload the files on the SharePoint, and start to upload the e-mails with different file format, they will lose the option to sort everything chronologically (by filename). An option is to manually delete the dash each time (what they are basically doing now - they need to assign proper filename to each e-mail stored), however if this can be automatized that would be much more user friendly.

   Is there any way how can I configure the OPM to perform the filename edit in a way I've explained?

8. Outlook hangs after short time if OnePlaceMail is installed.

   Have tested on Win7/OL2010 and Win8/OL2013. Both hang.

   Seems to start OK and can use features but after a while OL completely hangs. The PC/other apps continue OK. Only way out is to 'End task' in task manager.

   Any ideas

9. What are the My OnePlaceMail Recovered files in my Outlook and why do I show multiples?

   I have managed folders, but still have folders showing under the Recovered and multiples at that. Do I need to be concerned with these folders? Do I need to delete them?

10. Update has broken my SharePoint Connection - I now see Error: (500) Internal Server Error

    I've been using OnePlaceMail successfully for months, I've recently updated the Express Edition to the latest version 6.4 but it's broken my SharePoint Connections, I now see Error: (500) Internal Server Error. I've tried all the obvious things such as removing the connections etc.

    Hi, I would like to know if OPM support saving files to a SharePoint extranet from within an intranet environment, if it will support copying files from within the SharePoint intranet to the SharePoint extranet and if OPM will support HTTPS?

14. Modifying the filename and visibility of email attributes

    Hi, I have tried to rename the filename using

    "filenameMethod value="senton sendername title" action="insert" within the "outlook" tags in the config file. However it is still using the default filename with the hashtag. Is there any means of checking what could be going wrong. I am using the 30 day trial to understand what features are available. We use Office 2007 currently with Sharepoint 2010.

    I am also wondering, when using a Custom Mapping List, is it normal/expected for the fields mentioned in that custom list to stop showing up in the "OnePlaceMail - Save to Sharepoint" dialog box when dragging and dropping.

15. Starting a workflow after saving and then bringing up a secondary screen.

    I am looking at an option to start a workflow when a specific Column is selected as Yes. The workflow needs to bring up a secondary window which allows the user to select secondary options. Is this possible from within word or excel in Save to Sharepoint Library mode.

17. License Error Location notice - Office 2007

    When attempting to store a file - on a Office 2007 environment - the following "error" notice was displayed. It appeared to be a warning only as the user was able to progress.

    title - The license has not been specified in Outlook OnePlaceMail Settings / Licensing / Enterprise Edition / Licence Location - please specify the license location and attempt the save operation again.

    We have no problems with 2010.

18. Can the Outlook prompts be set to an enterprise default - to be off for all users by default.

    Can our organisation set the Outlook prompts in OnePlaceMail setting to be off by default for all users. Can this be done via Group Policy.

19. Cannot select more than one Enterprise keyword when setting metadata

    When copying or moving to SharePoint from Outlook, the associated content type's metadata is displayed. The problem occurs with the Enterprise Keywords column as it only allows you to set one keyword. Normally within the SharePoint interface you can add more than one keyword using a semi colon, however you can only set one keyword from the OnePlaceMail dialog.

20. error occurring when saving emails to sharepoint through ONEPLACEMAIL

    When saving an email to sharepoint the following error comes up

    Object reference not set to an instance of an object

    This error has only just happened not sure if it has happened after an update to SharePoint
