   Currently, it is not possible to expand the width of any column in Save to SharePoint window. For example we have a library column (type :dropdown list). Values are long and user cant see the entire value to pick

2. Set specific site collection

   I have an issue where suggested locations was not showing in OPM and it can be fixed by adding the site url into Navigation > SharePoint Search Services > Specific site collection

   What i need to know is there a way to push this setting out globally to all users or does it need to be manually set by each user?

3. Allow the default view for a OnePlace Docs site to be set locally (some of my peers want to default to explorer view)

   Some of my peers prefer the explorer view in OPS Docs (or other non-default sharepoint layouts). I think it should be something that could be overridden locally for favorites.

4. Unable to include underscores in filenames

   Hi there

   [Carrying on from https://feedback.oneplacesolutions.com/forums/589411-oneplacemail-desktop/suggestions/18223654-oneplacemail-replaces-hyphens-with-underscores-in.]

   When choosing to save a document to SharePoint from within MS Office applications we are unable to include underscores in the filenames.

   We are using OnePlaceLive to push out configuration profiles - what do I need to tweak to allow the underscores? I'm not very technical so simple instructions required :-).

6. Open Multiple OnePlaceDocs windows

   We would like to be able to open multiple OnePlaceDocs windows and drag and drop documents between the windows to enable users to easily move/copy documents to a new library.

   Similar to opening libraries in Windows Explorer.

7. Image Viewing - Tile View

   We have a number of photos/images within SharePoint, and can view multiple images through the browser using the "Tile" view.

   Are you considering creating these view options within OPM Explorer to assist with the viewing of the images for the user.

8. Unable to open MS Word files in Adobe Products using OnePlaceDocs

   Our admin staff frequently use Adobe Acrobat Pro to manipulate and combine multiple MS Word files into one PDF. Doing this natively from within the Adobe product (by pasting a link to the SP library in the file browser dialog) opens the MS Word file as a temp ‘pdf’ which can then be manipulated as required or they can be individually opened from the ‘combine files’ dialog box. It is easy to then save the pdf to their SharePoint library using OnePlaceDocs (great) but they would also like to easily open the MS Word files without having to find the URL and paste each time. They’ve tried this and found the following limitations when using OnePlaceDocs:

   Double clicking a single MS Word Doc to open via OnePlaceDocs within Adobe opens the file in MS Word.
   Highlighting a single MS Word Doc, selecting ‘Open With’ and choosing an Adobe Acrobat results in an error message.
   Selecting multiple MS Word files greys out the Open With option.

   We're using client version 7.7.0 with SP2013 on prem.

   Is there something I can change in the configuration tool to make the MS Word files open with Adobe products?

9. configure default file type for office files

   We are using OnePlace Docs to save files in SharePoint directly from the office applications (Word, Excel).
   We developed some word templates with macros, our file extension in this case is ".dotm".
   While saving this file to SharePoint by OnePlaceDocs, we were asked about the file name and the file extension.
   We are able to choose ."docm" and ".docx" as the file extension for this macro word file. When we save the file with the ".docm" extension, everything is working fine, because the scripts are retained. By saving the file as ".docx", the custom scripts will be lost.
   Unfortunately ".docx" is the default setting for saving ".dotm" files, which will end in losing the scripts by saving and disrupt our functionalities inside the document.
   We didn't found a setting in OnePlaceDocs to set the default file extension for the document.
   Would it be possible to add a functionality to choose which file format will be used while saving template files?

11. How OnePlaceDocs handles document library "Link" type

    I wish I could tell you this is a small problem but it's not. It's huge.

    OnePlace Documents treats differently the formal Sharepoint document library type called "Link".

    I have a "Link" item which points to an external url (such as youtube).

    When accessing the Sharepoint document library via a browser clicking on the default SP "Name" field correctly loads the external link.

    When accessing the Sharepoint document library via OnePlaceDocs, the link simply loops back to the Sharepoint item.

    I would guess that this is not considered a defect by OnePlace but rather "that's how it works."

    The practical consequence for me is that OnePlace Docs, rather than fulfill its promise of 'connects SharePoint from Desktop' actually irrevocably fails in this respect. Because of this failure my instruction to my users is "if you want to access an item in a document library that is a link to an external item then you must use a browser. For other content, such as Word document, you may continue using OnePlaceDocs."

    If requested by OnePlaceMail I can produce a screen recording showing the behavior.

    Hello,

    I have a user that is missing the one place docs tab in Adobe DC Standard. She had that tab on reader but when I upgraded her it disappeared. I have tried reinstalling oneplace but it does not populate in Adobe. Please Advise.

    oneplace mail is a good feature but we have some users who would prefer to use 'explorer' and explorer allows users to drag and drop attachments from outlook emails directly into a folder or into the email

14. Error in OnePlaceDocs

    Hi,
    We use OPM 7.4.2 and OnePlaceDocs, but a user has an issue with his new pc. When he goes on OnePlace Docs he has the following error :
    "Unhandled exception has occured in your application......
    ....Could not load type "EditItemPropertiesReadAccess"

    Do you have an idea to solve this please ?

15. Images Solution

    Hello,
    We have been looking around for a solution to make images in SP Picture Libraries more user-friendly, and we have not found anything that currently ticks our boxes (e.g. tried asking Bamboo Solutions)... so I was wondering if it would be something that could be considered for product development.. We give users the workaround of opening the libraries with explorer to engage with images (e.g. select> right click> print etc.). Unfortunately this has resulted in staff accidentally deleting images from SP. It would be great if OPD could offer an image viewing and interaction solution, that gives users the functionality of a network drive without the risk.

16. OnePlace PDF printer ?

    Hi, is there a development for a PDF printer, so we can 'print' PDF's to Sharepoint form non OPM or OPD compatible programs.

    We are you PDFXchange as our default PDF Editor/viewer but cannot use OnePlace as our plugin to Sharepoint.

    I know we can send to Sharepoint from Explorer, but that's an workaround.

    A PDF printer would be far more efficient and support all kind op applications.....

    Just an idea !!

17. Parameters on using SendToHandler.exe (delete on success + show success dialog)

    Hi,

    I'm implementing a listener to trigger SendToHandler.exe on creating/adding a file to a folder so the user is prompted to move the file to Sharepoint.

    I'm looking for a complete documentation on switches availlable when calling SendToHandler.exe.

    I need a way to show the success copy/move dialog box. Is there a switch to do so?

    I would also like to have a way to delete the local file if the move is completed successfuly.

    What is this below? And how do I fix it?

    Also why doesn't OnePlace support ever get back to. I sent in a support ticket last Friday and today is Wednesday. That's to long to contact me back.

19. Hyperlink from "Insert from SharePoint" breaks when copy/pasted into Word

    Hello,

    One of our internal customers was copying text from an email that contained links that someone had inserted using "Insert from SharePoint" (as link) into a Word document. However, we have discovered some odd behavior when you click the link to open the document...

    When links are inserted into an email using OnePlace, they are formatted as follows

    http://[server name]/site/gallerymuseum/_layouts/15/DocIdRedir.aspx?ID=UA6W2YUDAPZ7-11-591

    I have checked, and copy/paste does not change the link at all. When you click on the pasted link, it opens the correct document, but you notice that the document name is not as it should be. The name of the document has shown up as "DocIdRedir.aspx". If you make any changes to this document, and then try and save it you find that it throws an error: the document is read-only, you need to save it somewhere before you can make changes... but we know it is already saved in SP.

    Alternatively, I tried copying the link and pasting it in as the URL in my browser. This then opened the document correctly without the odd behavior.

20. OnePlaceDocs adding not appearing in ribbon

    Hi there,

    I have an issues where the oneplacedoc addin is ticked under COM addins in word 2013 but it does not appear in the ribbon. I have tried to reinstalling oneplacedocs with no luck.
