OnePlaceMail (Desktop)

  1. Keep folder open when creating new folder/document set

When you create a new folder or document set in the Oneplacemail, we typically need to save a mail or document in it right away. Currently, you have to create and save it, and then find it again in the hierarchy of all the other folders. When dealing whit a list of more than 1000 folders/document sets this become troublesome. Search doesn't work either as it takes 3-4 minutes for the search index to pick up the new information. I suggest you keep the new folder open and active, making it easy to continue the saving process.

  2. Wrong metadata is captured from Outlook to Sharepoint

Upon saving emails (from Inbox folder) from Outlook to Sharepoint using OnePlaceMail addin, the emails are saved into Sharepoint succesfully. But for some emails "Email Type" is saved as "Sent" instead of "Received". I have checked thoroughly and the relevant emails were indeed "Received" emails and not the "Sent" one.

    Please help!

  3. Option to change "Send and file" button action to Move the email rather than Copy it to SharePoint

Currently, the “Send and file” button in the Outlook email editor windows Copies the email to SharePoint after it's been sent.
Please provide a configuration option to change the action of this button to "Move", so that the sent email would be automatically deleted from the mailbox after it's been filed.

  4. Allow the prompt to save to SharePoint to be turned off for some folders

Could the 'save to SharePoint' prompt be folder based like the prompt for properties is. So you could set it to default to have the prompt but if you have a rule that autosaves to a specific SharePoint library you don't get the prompt

  5. The ability to set a default save location.

I am aware of a change after version 7.5 to address a performance issue with large SharePoint libraries where if the last location was defaulted on the next copy/move, OnePlaceMail would be querying SharePoint again for the metadata and causing it to hang.

This issue was not apparent to our users as they have a single upload area where the documents after upload are moved to a different location by the use of workflows.
Now every time you wish to upload or copy you are required to select the location.
Would it be possible to have a setting to allow…

  9. Upload limit of 50 email

I have just upgraded to OnePlaceMail v7.6.1 and can not upload more than 50 emails form Outlook 2010 to sharepoint in one go.

I'm sure in previous versiona i was able to upload much higher volumes of emails.

Does anyone know if there is a configuration setting i might be able to amend to allow more than 50 emails at a time to be uploaded into SharePoint?

  10. Unable to cast COM object of type 'System.__ComObject' to interface type 'Microsoft.Office.Core.IRibbonUI.'

Hello everybody. I have a user on Windows 7 and Office 2010. He receives the following error when using OnePlaceMail:

I found this post (https://feedback.oneplacesolutions.com/forums/589411-oneplacemail-desktop/suggestions/18223252-com-error-in-ops-lite-when-moving-emails-to-folder) and it says that this bug is resolved. But I cannot find the solution anywhere in this post.

  11. allow uploads of a single file to more than one folder at the same time

When uploading a document I sometimes must upload the same file/same file name to several folders. It would be helpful to have an option to choose more than one folder to which it would upload, so that they would upload consecutively to one place, and then the next place, etc.

  12. Document Sets don't show up in the Content View

In the Content View of OnePlaceDocs you show the contents of the selected library and you can select which view you want to see.
However the views don't show document sets so the user is left confused, thinking there are no document sets in the selected library.

It is important that users see a consistent representation of their library in SharePoint, OnePlaceDocs and in Explorer View and with OPD not showing the document sets this is confusing. This is leading to poor adoption by our users as they don't trust the Content view.

Can you please show the document sets…

  13. Teams integration

As teams is based on SharePoint, are we able to use OPM to connect to a teams site. It would copy/move emails/attachments to the teams document library but then also have to trigger whatever teams does to inform team members that a new file has been uploaded.

  17. Outlook 2016 does not show sharepoint content after adding library to favorites

We have several users in our environment. Several do not see the Sharepoint content from Outlook view, but a couple are seeing it perfectly.

Everyone is running Outlook 2016 with Sharepoint 2013 on premise.

I noticed the ones the do not work correctly are showing Outlook 2013 for the OnePlaceMail integration when they are actually on Outlook 2016.

    Anybody seen this before?

  19. Viewing Folders In Content Pane (Outlook View)

Is there a setting or custom configuration that can be applied that will allow for folders to show up in the view pane and not just in the folder hierarchy pane? This would allow us to view the column data on each folder and filter on it.
