What are the pre-requisites for installing OPM on Win7/Outlook 2010/SP2013
Hi,
Are there any 'pre-requisites' as far as other software that needs to be installed before installing OnePlaceMail?
We are trialling an alternative product, but that requires .Net Framework, VSTO, Primary Interop Assemblies and Visual C++ 2010.
Thanks,
Jarod

OPM doesn't show hierarchy of available terms for any managed meta-data term set when saving e-mail to SharePoint
When saving e-mail from Outlook 2013, field with additional managed meta-data doesn't show hierarchy of possible values within the termset (by selecting "Browse available values" button). Automatic search in available values works well so if I start to type in the term which I know in advance that it's included in the term set the autocomplete finds the value.

OnePlaceMail and a Trusted Identity Provider
Does OnePlaceMail work in combination with a SharePoint WebApplication which uses a Trusted Identity Provider for Authentication? I tried this scenario myself on a test environment, but this WebApplication uses https (required for a Trusted Identity Provider) with a self signed certificate and OnePlaceMail shows an error message due to the invalid certificate.
Do you know if this scenario is supported? I can try this myself if there is a way to bypass the certificate error.
Thanks for your help
Bart

Creating a streamlined interface for "folder-less" file-retrieval as an alternative to the current database-centric approach
This suggestion pertains to when Sharepoint is used without any folders, and requests the creation of an interface for efficiently browsing and retrieving files that mirrors the intuitive graphical user interface of Windows folders:
(1) Pull headers from the server only for tags in meta-data, not for every single file (which could be 100, which could be 2900, which could be even more) and make us essentially look for needles in a digital pile of hay.
(2) Present categories as folders/gateways to files, even if clicking a folder is only really applying a meta-data tag filter.
(3) Show files and…

one place mail with IE11
I only have the trial version of OnePlaceMail but I have noticed some things similar to the same problem we have in the current software for outlook. There are certain functions that do not work with IE11 installed. Site actions button does not work, change view button does not work and you cannot scroll down in the sharepoint view.

How do i disable "...Click to Show All..."
Is there a way to disable the "...Click to Show All..." in the folder tree in the Save to Sharepoint window? I am constantly going from one folder to the next and it causes a few too many extra mouse clicks and disrupts the flow of our folder structure.

Can you download previous versions of OnePlaceMail?
My company is currently using a licensed Enterprise edition of OnePlaceMail version 6.3.1. A single user is requesting we add OnePlaceMail to their system, however the only version available is the latest one (6.6.1 i think).
To get this working i would have to update our OnePlaceMail server version, and all of the clients to the latest version. As we are in the process of migrating our SharePoint provision online, this would be wasted effort as within a month we would have to update this anyway.
Is there a way to access previous versions of OnePlaceMail for download? Any help…

VSTO 2010 deployment
I'm hoping there's a solution for this issue. We need to install OPM on around 70 clients and whilst I can deploy the msi files, I cannot seem to get VSTO 2010 installed. I followed the Enterprise Deployment Using Group Policy guide, but the VSTO link no longer works. In fact, Microsoft have replaced the software with a redist.exe file which does not allow for msi extraction.
Without the ability to install VSTO, we cannot deploy OPM and it means quite a bit of manual installation.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
