  2. OPM : button translation (SendAndFile)

    I saw how to translate buttons for OnePlaceMail, but I do not see how can I translate the "SendAndFile" button (in french). Someone can help me please ?

  3. Error when adding video content to library

    When adding video content to an Asset Library, I receive either an access denied or a file not found error. The file is actually stored in the library, but none of the metadata fields I choose are populated. I've tried multiple video formats with the same result.

    We're on SP 2013 with Enterprise 6.6.1 installed.

    Is anyone else experiencing this?

  4. What is the purpose of the settingsupdatesconfig.xml

    What is the purpose of the settingsupdatesconfig.xml located inside the OnePlaceMail folder? We use the config_updates.xml to make any changes, but since we have upgraded to 6.6.1 I have seen this file in there, and I am not sure what it is supposed to do. There is no reference to it in the documentation either.

  5. Problem refreshing OnePlaceMail recent locations, Cannot create the folder.

    Problem refreshing OnePlaceMail recent locations, Cannot create the folder.

    this error comes up every time outlook opens and when saving to sharepoint however the recent locations is updating.....

    Full error below and using Outlook 2013 with Office365 and sharepoint subscription:

  6. Email Preview - Showing Attachments

    Email preview works fine and fills a gap that really should be provided by SharePoint (!), but are we able to show the attachment in the email preview? It would be nice to see the attachment and be able to launch it from the preview as you can in a standard Outlook preview.

    We're asking our users to store attachments separately, but in some cases it makes sense to store the email content and the attachment to be stored together.

  7. Different characters (é,à,') are missing when archiving in SharePoint

    After selecting a document to be copied or moved to SharePoint with OPM, the properties' window appears but all specific characters like (é,à,' - very used in french langage !) are missing in the name of documents. Even if we modify them, they disappeared after in Sharepoint. See the example below (original text is : Procedure de création d'une carte à puce virtuelle)

  8. OnePlaceMail installed but no longer accessible through outlook

    OnePlaceMail has recently stopped working on my laptop. I've uninstalled and reinstalled a number of times but it just won't show up in the outlook toolbars. Has anyone had this issue before and can shed some light as to why it's stopped working? Does the free version have a limit to how much mail can be sent to sharepoint?

  9. Unable to connect to SharePoint site from Outlook

    Hi,

    I've just installed OnePlaceMail Express Edition and every time I try and add a SharePoint site I get this error:

    An error has occurred accessing the url ' https://xyz '

    Error: The requested site does not appear to have claims enabled or the Login Url has not been set.

    Please note, I have Claims based authenticate for my site collection and anonymous access has been enabled.

  12. In Word, if we do "save to SharePoint" but cancel the operation, (1) will be added to the filename.

    If I try to save a new document to SharePoint, I will be prompted for a name.

    but then cancel the OPM dialog https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/s3_images/1148072/OPM2.png?1422408685 ,

    If I look at my AppData\Local\Scinaptic\OPM\Temp, I see the two files: Document3 and Document3 (1).

  14. Release date for R7.0?

    Is there an estimated date / month / quarter that we could expect to see R7.0? We're looking to upgrade to Office 2013 (and SP2013) from 2007 and wondering if we could defer the packaging effort of 6.6 and put it into 7.0 instead. Many thanks in advance!

    I am attempting to add a new list item using the 'New' button in OnePlaceMail, however each time I save the item I receive the following error message:

  17. Character String added to Outlook 2010 email name following upload to SharePoint 2010

    Hi, When sending an email from Outlook 2010 to SharePoint via OnePlaceMail, a string of characters along these lines _1r6 1hvrb are added to the end of the email name. Is it possible to remove this somehow? Thanks

  18. Spellcheck when using Send & File button?

    By default OnePlaceMail Send and File function doesn’t appear to trigger a spell check when this function is used instead of the normal Outlook Send. This is true even if the option to check spelling on Send is selected in Outlook options.

    Is there anyway for us to modify this so a spell check is always run when using Send and File? Something in configuration etc, or allowing OPM to recognise if this setting is turned on in Outlook?

  19. Licence transfer of free express OnePlaceMail to another server

    My company is using OnaPlaceMail for SharePoint since last year. We are now migrating to a new server environment but the OnaPlaceMail software is showing me that the free licence is already at the max and we cannot use it on new users anymore. Is it possible to migrate the licence to a new server because we are planing to shutdown the old server environment? Only about 10 users are using OnePlaceMail and we want to delete the licence for the users that don’t use the software anymore and later we want to migrate the licence of the users that…

  20. OnePlaceMail Grouped by Date view

    We have a document library used to file meeting papers which are tagged by meeting name and date of meeting. The information type for the date of meeting column is 'Date and Time' with the format of the field set to 'Date Only'. The default view for the library groups the files by meeting name and then by date of meeting.

    When files are uploaded to this library using OnePlaceMail, they are not only tagged by the specified date but also by the time that the file was uploaded. This is problematic as it affects the default grouped view. Files…
