An error occurred while saving the comment Elissa commentedHi Robert
Thank you for your inquiry.
Are you able to check that you have the .NET Framework 4.5.2 pre-requisite installed on your computer?
Is this the only computer this is occurring on?
Is the error generating a screenshot or log file? If there is an error log, can you please send this through to support at oneplacesolutions.com and I can review.

I am not 100% sure what version of OnePlaceDocs you are now using.
When you save a new workbook in Excel, using OnePlaceDocs, do you have the following option:

An error occurred while saving the comment Elissa commentedHi Benoit
I would like to advise that this is now available!
When saving an excel file, using OnePlaceDocs, when the user is prompted to name the file, the dropdown will allow .xlsm file type.

An error occurred while saving the comment Elissa commentedHi Benoit
Saving a file within the application will have this result.
You can save a file as .xlsm if you right click on the email in Windows Explorer, and select 'Send To | SharePoint'

This is a feature that is on our product backlog, and when this is included I have made a note to update this thread.

An error occurred while saving the comment Elissa commentedHi JPW
Thank you for your inquiry.
The UI setting in OnePlaceMail, currently has an issue. A work around for this, is to deploy your custom column mapping URL via a config_update.xml process.
The custom list is set up in your SharePoint site, as a custom list.
You can then specify which columns you would like to map from/to.
Once this is completed, please select add the following XML to your config_update.xml
Further information can be found here: http://www.oneplacesolutions.com/help/7.2/#!Modules/2/Documents/customcolumnmapping.htm
Please let me know if you have any further queries.

An error occurred while saving the comment Elissa commentedHi Rick
The user must be connected to the network to allow the transfer from Outlook to SharePoint using OnePlaceMail.
The add in should load, regardless of network connectivity and if connected to a VPN, there should be no issue with using OnePlaceMail.
Are you able to add a screenshot to accompany this issue to assist with troubleshooting?Kind regards

An error occurred while saving the comment Elissa commentedHI Murray
Currently it is not possible to save a document directly from a website to SharePoint using OnePlaceMail.
The steps are as you have been doing, which is to download the document. You can then right click and select "Save to SharePoint". Alternatively, OnePlaceDocs (if installed) does allow you to drag/drop to a SharePoint location. This is available from release 7.0.

An error occurred while saving the comment Elissa commentedHi Andrew
The best workaround for this is to create the site columns that OnePlaceMail needs and to add these to a content type.
A list of the site columns, can be found here:

An error occurred while saving the comment Elissa commentedHi Nick
You are able to turn off the prompt when saving an email to SharePoint.
If you set the default content type in OnePlaceMail Settings, to the name of the email content type that appears in your SharePoint site (and this content type has the site columns for OnePlaceMail), the email will be saved, automatically using this content type.
Presuming there are no additional columns in your library, the user should not be prompted during the save process.
Kind regards
Elissa
An error occurred while saving the comment Elissa commentedHi Joe
Thank you for your inquiry.
Currently there is no feature to automate moving emails to a specific document library.
You could add an Outlook rule to move the email to a specific location in SharePoint. Please add the location to the 'Manage My OnePlaceMail folders' so that the required location appears in the OnePlaceMail .pst in Outlook.
Please let me know if you have any further queries or issues.
Kind regards

Thank you for your inquiry.
The suggested location may return this result, when this is the first item to be saved to a newly created site.
Can you please confirm if you have any content saved with a similar subject in your SharePoint site?

An error occurred while saving the comment Elissa commentedHi Frank
Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately we did have some issues with the alerts for the forum so some inquiries were missed.
I can confirm when a search is entered, the count to see extra items is removed from the bottom of the screen.
I have added this to our product backlog, and will update this thread once this has been resolved.
The only workaround is to enter a more refined search, when searching an item.
Kind regards

We will add this to our suggestions area, and once this has been reviewed, I will update this thread.
