1. Viewing Folders In Content Pane (Outlook View)

   Is there a setting or custom configuration that can be applied that will allow for folders to show up in the view pane and not just in the folder hierarchy pane? This would allow us to view the column data on each folder and filter on it.

2. How do I fix this error? The type initializer for 'Scinaptic.OnePlaceMail.API.Core.RecentsConfiguration' threw an exception.

   How do I fix this error message with OnePlaceMail in Outlook?

   There was a problem refreshing OnePlaceMail recent locations

   I saw on another similar thread that clicking 'clear recent locations' in the settings fixes this, but the the add-in for Outlook doesn't seem to function at this point - I can't get to the settings for OPM. And, a uninstall/reinstall doesn't seem to make a difference at this point.

3. "Error Loading Content" after 7.2 Lite upgrade

   After downgrade to 7.2 Lite, I receive an "error loading content" message when clicking on any of the sharepoint folders. I updated the required prerequisites to the latest version, uninstalled prior to update, removed the Outlook addin prior to update, and rebooted after installation for good measure.

4. Outlook 2016 - Copy attachment to SharePoint no longer working

   Everyone in the office just upgraded to Outlook 2016. Now the Copy Attachment(s) to SharePoint option does not work. See attached error screen.

5. The selected location is currently unavailable

   I have the same issue discussed in two other threads by this name:

   The message is displayed as soon as the OnePlace Mail window opens after we opt to move or copy an email to SharePoint- no fodlers or libraries are clicked before the message appears. The message is the same for all sites and libraries. Upload to all of these locations worked when we were using the trial version.

   Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

   Per advice on the referenced threads I have attempted to rename the config.xml file, but the only files in the specified location are manifest, settingsupdatesconfig and config_pre7.

8. config_update.xml does not work in v7.1 of oneplacemail

   I successfully used the configuration below in a configupdate.xml file for years and now that we are going to v 7.1, I am trying to use this same config file but when I add this file, oneplacemail v 7.1 gets knocked out of outlook completely. So, what do I need to change in this configupdate.xml to make it work for version 7.1 of oneplacemail?

9. Process for OnePlaceMail Lite

   Update on the process of using OnePlaceMail Lite 

   With the release of OnePlaceMail v7 and two new products, OnePlaceDocs and OnePlaceLive, we are excited to be able to retain our free version, OnePlaceMail Lite (formerly called ‘Express’). With our new suite of products, we have introduced many significant changes and benefits that we want our customers to experience all our new capabilities.

   Saying that, we are asking all our customers to trial our full product suite for 30 days. At the end of this trial period, you will be advised that the trial has expired, and will be offered a choice to downgrade to OnePlaceMail Lite, or continue using the full product suite.

   Depending on your selection, the relevant links will provide instructions on how to proceed. Specifically, for the process of OnePlaceMail Lite, you will be asked for some information and then be able to download the Lite version. This process will include, uninstalling the full trial, and running the Lite installer.

   Frequently Asked Questions 

   Is there a way to downgrade, before the 30 day trial expires?As we are quite excited about the release of our upgraded OnePlaceMail and introduction of new products OnePlaceDocs, and OnePlaceLive, we wanted to give everyone the opportunity trial these. To allow this, we are inviting all of our customers to trial our full product suite for 30 days before continuing with the Lite (free) version. Considering this, we do not have a ‘shortcut’ to the Lite version available. 

   Do I need to carry out these steps for every machine where OnePlaceMail Express is installed? Yes, all computers that have OnePlaceMail Express installed, will need to be upgraded to OnePlaceMail Lite.

   Will my settings remain? Yes, all of your settings will be migrated over to the upgraded version.

13. Making the MyShort Cuts grid useful.

    Would be great to be able drag links from grid of items the My Shortcuts in OnePlaceMail on to an email. Even better if you could multi-select and drag.

14. E-mail preview not available in Outlook 2010

    Hi.

    We have Outlook 2010 and I would like to see a preview of the email that is stored in the SharePoint 2010 environment.

    All other documents like (word, pdf etc are visible).

    But we cannot see a preview of the stored email.

    Is that not strange for an email tool?

    Is there anybody that can give me a solution for this.

15. I got a message that I need to update One place mail but when I try to it won't let me download the file

    I am using a computer that i havent used for a while and I got a message that I need to update OnePlace Mail, it said I had " 0" days to do it???

    I tried to update but it wont allow me to download the file

    this error comes up every time outlook opens and when saving to sharepoint however the recent locations is updating.....

18. OnePlaceMail installed but no longer accessible through outlook

    OnePlaceMail has recently stopped working on my laptop. I've uninstalled and reinstalled a number of times but it just won't show up in the outlook toolbars. Has anyone had this issue before and can shed some light as to why it's stopped working? Does the free version have a limit to how much mail can be sent to sharepoint?

19. Unable to connect to SharePoint site from Outlook

    Hi,

    I've just installed OnePlaceMail Express Edition and every time I try and add a SharePoint site I get this error:

    An error has occurred accessing the url ' https://xyz '

    Error: The requested site does not appear to have claims enabled or the Login Url has not been set.

    Please note, I have Claims based authenticate for my site collection and anonymous access has been enabled.
