    Hi Vincent

Currently, it is possible to preview a file in the 'Insert from SharePoint' dialogue box when inserting a file from SharePoint into a new email.

The Docs Explorer does offer a preview function. This can be turned on the the View tab, in the Docs Explorer ribbon.

Good pick up! thank you - that is a typo and you are quite correct

    The correct columns are

    DocCreatedSaved

    DocModifiedSaved.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention :)

    Hi All,

As previously mentioned, we have implemented this enhancement into our R7.2 release.

    By adding the columns named

    DocCreatedSaved

    DocCreatedModified

to your Sharepoint site columns and or document libraries, the original created and modified dates will be captured at the time of uploading documents.

To find out more about other great enhancements and features, please visit our website at http://www.oneplacesolutions.com and download R7.2

    Hi Ken

    Thank you for this video.

Can you please confirm the data location setting for your OnePlaceMail. This can be checked via OnePlaceMail Settings | Outlook | Data Location.

    We recommend using Local profile.

In regards to the recovered folders that are being created, can you please remove and the PST.

    1. Please go to File, Account Settings, Account Settings, Data Files,

remove the OnePlaceMail PST from here,

    2. Close Outlook

    3. Browse to C:\\appdata\local\OnePlace solutions\oneplacemail.pst

    4. Please delete this pst, and restart Outlook.

    Please try drag/drop again.

    Kind regards

    Hi Ken

There is no function within OnePlaceMail to automatically save emails to a specific document library.
You can set up an Outlook rule to carry out the auto saving, by selecting the subfolder from the OnePlaceMail PST.

Please note, that this would rely on the document library saving only the email, with no additional metadata being required to be selected.

Can you please ensure that you have uninstalled the current version.

Please confirm you have both pre-requisites installed

    Hi Ken,

This seems to be a slightly different issue.

Can you please confirm the data file location, in OnePlaceMail settings, Outlook tab?

The PST should not be creating any subfolders, other than the recents, and favourite entries.

If you could provide a screenshot, that would be greatly appreciated.

    Kind regards

    Hi Noel

    Thank you for your inquiry.

OnePlaceMail does not offer a automatic synchronisation to SharePoint, as the user may require to add additional metadata when saving the email, or file to SharePoint.

This is a feature that is currently on our product backlog.

A possible workaround is to use Outlook rules to move emails to the Sharepoint location, as it appears in the OnePlaceMail pst file.

    Kind regards

    Hi Vincent

Are you able to advise what version of OnePlaceMail you are using?

Just to confirm, do you mean that type ahead returns values, but if you select the picker, the dialogue box is blank?

If so, can you please try adding a term to the list, via SharePoint and then trying with OnePlaceMail again?

    Kind regards

    Hi Olivia,

    Thanks for your inquiry.

This cannot be turned off in OnePlaceDocs, as this is using the SharePoint permissions.

    [SharePoint]

    https://d2r1vs3d9006ap.cloudfront.net/s3_images/1288376/version1.jpg?1444110620

You can restrict this, when setting the permission levels for the permission group (untick, Delete versions).

    HI Sylvain

    Thank you for your inquiry.

If you have installed the sandbox solution for email template/site columns, the easiest way to check to see if this has been successful, is to browse to Site settings | Site Columns. Can you see a series of site columns, named EmTo, EmSubject etc?

The Administration sandbox solution, is provided for our product OnePlaceLive. The SharePoint Solution, you originally downloaded provides a content type and columns to capture email attributes.
