  1. OnePlaceMail for SharePoint Online missing desktop Functionality - Custom Fields

    So very happy an MS Store app was released as I mostly only use Office 365 OWA.

    I was very disappointed however once I realised that the custom fields added to the one place mail doctype are no longer usable.

    Without these, the functionality is almost pointless as emails are saved in OWA as .eml files which means you can't view them online.

    I was using this feature to save all emails received relating to invoicing and payments. I added custom fields so when saving I could add in extra info pertaining to the payment amount, type, cost type etc.…

    We’re pleased to update this item, with the information that it is now possible to capture some additional custom columns when saving to SharePoint using the OnePlaceMail app for Outlook.

  5. I am not able to sign in gettting message as need permissionfrom admin & admin not aware to allow

    OnePlaceMail needs permission to access resources in your organization that only an admin can grant. Please ask an admin to grant permission to this app before you can use it.

  9. SharePoint Root URL Shows up Blank

    Two separate people within our organization have different experiences when attempting to test this application. Though my SharePoint Root URL shows the proper information, a colleague of mine's is completely Blank, and doesn't allow us to set this field with any information. Without this filled, he gets the attached error each time he tries to upload a file.

    There should be an option to hide inactive projects, other ways the project list can be quite cluttered after a while.

  12. Prioritize contextual and other menu options based on likelihood

    That "my friend's been hacked!" could certainly come up. But why would that be more important than say, forwarding options? I didn't see any way to forward an email or conversation, in any menu. My browser appeared differently, too, which may have something to do with it (but shouldn't....as in, my browser should look like it always does, if Outlook is somehow changing that.)

  13. No available Office 365 Groups

    No one at two different Office 365 tenants are able to access Office 365 Groups to save email. The error states "No available Office 365 Groups". Please advise...

    Just to update this item, this issue has since been resolved- 365 groups should now be available when saving using the OnePlaceMail app for Outlook.

  14. configure content type detection for OnePlaceMail for Outlook App

    In OnePlaceMail desktop it is possible to configure a custom content types for detection using a configuration profile.

    Can we please add the ability to configure a string of Content types to detect for the App as well.
    This is imporant where we create a custom content type inherited from OnePlaceMail Email content type that includes additional custom columns.

  15. We had trouble listing out what sites you have

    All users in our organisation have trouble listing the sites from one Sharepoint site which is not the case for other sites. When I open the site from OnePlaceMail outlook add-in it says :

    We had trouble listing out what sites you have
    The message we received was: The request is unprocessable because it uses too many resources

    If this makes no sense to you, let your I.T. people know.
    It would be nice to tell them this reference ID too: 7a7784f3-2582-4b6b-c27b-957061c062a8

    Is there any solution for this issue ?

  16. Save to OneDrive shortcut folders

    When saving to OneDrive, please allow to navigate inside Shortcut Folders created like this: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/add-shortcuts-to-shared-folders-in-onedrive-for-work-or-school-d66b1347-99b7-4470-9360-ffc048d35a33?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US
    This will allow to save to folders shared by others users.

  17. Intermittent 503 error with OnePlaceMail App

    Due to the current situation with COVID-19 and many people now working remotely, some Microsoft services are throttling to handle the extra load.
    This can result in a ‘503’ (Service Unavailable/Server Too Busy) is one of the errors that may appear when this occurs.

    Due to this, the 503 error may also appear intermittently when using the OnePlaceMail App as well as OnePlaceMail & OnePlaceDocs Desktop with Office 365.

    We have logged this with Microsoft Support and encourage users experiencing this to do the same via their tenant in Central Administration

  18. Saving an email from Outlook Mobile using OnePlaceMail App - Error: This protocol does not support ImmutableIds

    Unable to save any email from Outlook Mobile (android) using OnePlaceMail app.

    It shows that some error has occurred, please contact your IT Administrator.

    Then an automated email comes from No Reply noreply@oneplacesolutions.com. Attached with this post.

    Please check and help resolving this issue.

  20. There was an issue saving your email(s) to SharePoint

    Hello, I am recieving an error message that says "There was an issue saving your email(s) to SharePoint " and moreover, please see the attached picture. Any Ideas of what is wrong? I have ignored it many times and thought it might just be a small bug, but no it comes more frequently.
