1. Error: Array index out of bounds

   We have a large backlog of emails that need to be moved to Sharepoint. Mostly a few hundred at a time. Sometimes +2000. I have found that when moving several hundred at a time we have this error that keeps occurring.

   All messages do get transferred to Sharepoint but they are also left in Outlook (not moved). Additionally, most of the messages in Sharepoint are missing all of their column information except for the subject line. We definitely need this info displayed.

   When I've tried moving +2000 emails, everything gets transferred but the OPM add-on/Outlook freezes after the transfer. The messages are not moved from Outlook and the column info is not shown in Sharepoint.

   Is there a limit we should adhere to when transferring emails or is there a timeout issue? If there is a limit, can it be adjusted?

2. Default outlooking searching of OnePlaceMail - how does it work?

   I am starting to use the OnePlaceMail Express edition 6.3 on outlook 2010.

   My question is around using the default outlook search (Not the oneplacemail search)

   I can see it returns most results for old mail, but is there a time delay for newly stored email. I checked to see if searching for a recently stored email returned in a search result and it did not, even though I can see the mail if I browse to it in the OnePlaceMail folders.

   So how does the indexing work, is it sharepoint or my outlook client that is performing the indexing?

3. Configuring OPM to give complete Outlook UX for viewing emails stored in SharePoint

   Hi,

   Apologies if this is showing me as a OPM newbie.

   We have recently upgraded our client install to OPM 6.3 – and our users have these requirements:

   • They want to explore the SharePoint library and folder structure via an Outlook interface (i.e. using the search box, items pane and preview pane) – not by having a SharePoint web page (view) shown in the Outlook window (I believe this was possible in OPM 6.1 by a checkbox on the folder node to not show SharePoint view)

   • In this interface, they want to be able to drag-and-drop items from one folder to another

   • When an item is dropped in a folder, they want it to pick up the metadata defaults assigned to the folder in SharePoint, and also retain its email metadata

   • Ideally, they would like to only be able to see emails in this outlook interface (not documents in the SharePoint folder structure).

   So as you can see what they really want is a complete replication of the outlook experience, but with the emails now being stored in SharePoint as opposed to exchange or PST files.

   Can you please describe if this is possible, and how this can be configured in OPM 6.3

4. Body field not getting populated from email

   Hello I am using the express version and following the guides on the site created my own site columns and content type which mostly seem to work fine however the EmBody field doesnt populate with data as the others do. Any suggestions? I am running the latest 6.3 client side. Thanks for any help you can provide.

   This can now be achieved by using the OnePlaceLive Configuration service tool.

   Set this item to true, and publish to your users. When users save to a document library, with the email body column added – this will be captured.

5. "E-mail as attachment" not working when applied to custom libraries

   In version OnePlaceMail 6.3 "E-mail as attachment" is supposed to work when applied to custom SharePoint libraries (see http://www.scinaptic.com/images/pdfs/oneplacemail-highlights.pdf on page 8, under "Other Enhancements"). We cannot seem to get this to work: the context action does not appear. Can anybody provide help?

   We have installed the Scinaptic server components and have activated Scinaptic features on the site collection. How can we debug this? Thanks for any help

6. License error one place mail client 6.2

   Hi, getting the following error with OPM 6.2 client, any ideas,...

   This is the OnePlaceMail error message displayed when we tried to save an email to sharepoint

7. Visual indicator for emails stored in Sharepoint

   If I send an email and use the prompt option on send and choose to put the email in to sharepoint when its sent, do the receipients get any visual indicator to show the email is already in sharepoint?

   I did read the user and admin guides before posting so my appologies if this is answered in those guides and I have missed it.

9. Remote User connection to Sharepoint Via Exchange

   So far i like the solution, but we have several outsides sales reps.. 50. When outside the domain, how do the users use the program? The connection between outlook and sharepoint is not active ... Unless our VPN is open. This is not possible 24 7.

    I have added SP 2010 custom list to outlook 2007 afterthat I slect one email and move to that list and got below error

11. no template in site collection after installing and activating the sharepoint sandbox solution - part 2

    We want to test OnePlaceMail and installed and activated the sharepoint sandbox solution. Also we changed the security settings according to your explanations in the internet explorer. Unfortunately the solution does not show up in the site collection. We have Office 365.

    I'm using SharePoint in Portuguese - Brazil.

12. From and received options

    When I "Move to SharePoint", is there an option that you can change where the pop-up box that shows the "From" and "Received data & time" is auto populated with the details in your Outlook rather than having to fill out all this information again?

13. OnePlaceMail group is not present in Word or Excel

    Hi,

    I've just installed OnePlaceMail Express and everything works fine in Outlook 2010. The OnePlaceMail goup is present in the ribbon and it's ok. Also using explorer you find the send to SharePoint-OnePlaceMail command.

    In Word, Excel, PP it is not present. I looked for it in menu options, etc but I'm not able to find.

    Could anyone help me, please?

14. Email Body columns is not working (V3)

    Email Body is not working, anybody else having this problem?

    I installed the free version (6.3) to test out how this works. I'm using Office 365 and Outlook 2010. Mostly, this seems to meet my basic needs out of the box. The big problem I have hit is that the "Email Body" is not working. I'm attaching emails from Outlook, each is an HTML email with nothing special, just typed in Outlook. All the other data fields I chose from the default set (sandbox solution v3) seem to work as expected.

    The Email Body is just empty. I tried switching the column settings from Plain Text to Rich Text and Enhanced Rich Text, no change. I'm not a SharePoint whiz, just know enough to fumble around and can get most basic things working. Anybody know if I am just missing something that needs to be set up to make the Email Body show up?

16. Email Date and Time fields in SharePoint Search Results

    When performing a search in SharePoint 2010, the column EmDateReceived is returned in the results XML in the element , i.e. what I called it as a Managed Property. This wirks fine except that the Time part of the field (displayed everywhere else) is missing. Is this a known limitation?

17. How to insert in an email the folder link?

    Hi all,

    Currently whenever I would like to insert a link to a specific folder I click on the "insert from Sharepoint" button and click on the folder link on top of the new window. Then a browser window opens where I navigate to the page and copy the folder link.

    Is there any way to do it as easy as it is with inserting links of files?

18. Prevent OPM from automatically categorizing emails that are copied to SharePoint

    Is there way to prevent emails from being categorized in Outlook 2010 after they're copied to SharePoint? I use Categories for filing my email in Outlook so when OPM categorizes the email upon saving to SharePoint it disappears from my uncategorized list of email.

20. Uploading File Size Limitation

    Get the following error when sending a 45mb file to SharePoint 2010 from a file share.

    "Error: There was an exception running the extensions specified in the config file. ---> Maximum request length exceeded."

    If the file size is reduced to 30mb or less, the error goes away.
