"Server Components are out-of-date" error
As of today, all of my users began getting the "OnePlaceMail Server Components are out-of-date
" error. We are using the 6.3 free edition client for Outlook 2010 on 2010 SP foundation which does not use the Server Components. Have searched everywhere. Have uninstalled and reinstalled a newly downloaded client but it made no difference. Help!

Long URL seems to break Launch item
Is there a character limit to the URL of a Web Page launch item? I have saved a long URL that opens a form in SharePoint to enter a new list item. However, only a single blank line is then displayed when I click the Launch drop-down.

error occurring when saving emails to sharepoint through ONEPLACEMAIL
When saving an email to sharepoint the following error comes up
Object reference not set to an instance of an object
This error has only just happened not sure if it has happened after an update to SharePoint

Error 404 after 6.4 instal
Hi have just installed 6.4 and am getting an error loading files click for details which shows the remote server returned an error (404) not found.
This occurs on all folders in the sharepoint folders, however all folders in the recent folders work.....??

License Error Location notice - Office 2007
When attempting to store a file - on a Office 2007 environment - the following "error" notice was displayed. It appeared to be a warning only as the user was able to progress.
title - The license has not been specified in Outlook OnePlaceMail Settings / Licensing / Enterprise Edition / Licence Location - please specify the license location and attempt the save operation again.
We have no problems with 2010.

OnePlaceMail not loading in Outlook
Hi,
One one client PC OnePlaceMail is not loading in Outlook. I have installed the latest version 6.4.2 but still nothing.
I followed the KB from Scinaptic en now when I try to enable OnePlaceMail and I see the error shown below.
I thought it had something to do with VSTO but I have installed this, repaired it, nothing...
Any idea?

browsing OPM folders via Outlook AllMinimal.aspx??
Sorry, something went wrong. This error message is within Outlook trying to browse to OPM Managed OPM folders in Sharepoint. Using OnePlaceMail Email Library. when adding Apps to SharePoint. Can't open folder in 6.4.2 version
Hi,
Since upgrade to 6.4.2 (from 6.3), have an error,
when select location to save the document, I click on the '+' to open the folder (this is a Document Set), and stuck in 'Loading...'
I catch the error with Fiddler util.
When call '/vtibin/client.svc/ProcessQuery'

No template in site collection after installing on Office 365 with Danish language settings
Hi,
We want to test OnePlaceMail, but we are a little bit stuck at the moment. I can see in this forum, that our problem isn't something new and from what I read we need a template that has our language settings instead of the English that is default.
If this is a know problem for all non-English setups, why don't you just provide a download library where people can download the templates they need.
Please provide us with a template that is usable in a Danish enviroment.

issue with bulk upload - Windows path error
One of our users has a problem with the bulk upload function. He has sucsessfully uploaded 120 pdf files. No issue. He has tried 3 and 4 files from thsi area - no problem but when he tried the following selection he encountered this error - have you any ideas what is wrong with the selection ?

Update has broken my SharePoint Connection - I now see Error: (500) Internal Server Error
I've been using OnePlaceMail successfully for months, I've recently updated the Express Edition to the latest version 6.4 but it's broken my SharePoint Connections, I now see Error: (500) Internal Server Error. I've tried all the obvious things such as removing the connections etc.

Attachments bigger than 35mb - No prompt to save to Sharepoint
OnePlaceMail does not prompt to save a file attachment that's greater than 35mb. Is this a limitation with the product?
Instead the standard Outlook message : "The file you're attaching is bigger than the server allows." is displayed.

Lookup Fields give false second option
When using those selection fields where you select a specific dataset, when uploading an Email to SharePoint we have the following problem:
After having selected the value, another selection box appears, which makes no sense, as only one value may be selected.

Prompt To Save Attachment To OnePlaceMail
Hi,
I'm using the latest OnePlaceMail 6.5 Express version. Attachment to email that are automatically attached to Outlook 2010 via third party Acrobat plug-in does not prompt to save to SharePoint 2010.
Example:
Third Party Acrobat Plug-in install to an application to export document to PDF while in report viewing screen and email.
When this process or export is executed, Outlook open and attached the PDF file but OnePlaceMail does not prompt to save the PDF file.
Similarly if open any PDF file in Adobe Acrobat and click the attach to email button, the file is attached to Outlook but…

Installation Error - system components
Installation Error:
Windows 7, Office 2010 (Outlook 2010 and Sharepoint 2010)
When attempting to install, error message appears, "An error occurred while installing system components for Scinaptic OnePlaceMail. Setup cannot continue until all system components have been successfully installed."
Additional notes after reading through other posts:
The instalaltion package selected was the x86 version.
The setup.exe file and FileToWSSOutlookAddInSetup-x86.msi files are in the same folder within the path: C:\Users\Downloads\oneplacemail-express-edition-6-5.zip\1 Client Installation\Office 2010\x86 (based on Office version not OS)\Outlook Addin

Not getting Installed because of error " Not valid Short File Name"
" xxxx.xxxx is not a valid short file name "
Can anyone please guide me through this issue. Im trying to install the setup.exe / FileToWSSOutlookAddInSetup-x86 . when I try to run I'm getting a Pop up with this error " xxxx.xxxx is not a valid short file name ".
Is the error because of the name as my name looks like " mailto:asdf.ghjk@contoso.com ".
Can you please guide me through this as it is very important for my business.
