  1. Error: Array index out of bounds

We have a large backlog of emails that need to be moved to Sharepoint. Mostly a few hundred at a time. Sometimes +2000. I have found that when moving several hundred at a time we have this error that keeps occurring.

    https://d37wxxhohlp07s.cloudfront.net/s3_images/823621/OPM%20Error.png?1354034941

All messages do get transferred to Sharepoint but they are also left in Outlook (not moved). Additionally, most of the messages in Sharepoint are missing all of their column information except for the subject line. We definitely need this info displayed.

When I've tried moving +2000 emails, everything gets transferred but the OPM add-on/Outlook freezes after the transfer.…

  2. disable start up welcome screen

I am trying to hide the start up welcome screen from appearing. In the update_config file I have

    outlook

    userinfo

    showStartupDialog value="false" action="delete"

    showStartupDialog value="false" action="insert"

    userinfo

    outlook

According to the document 3.2.28 it should be:

    showStartupDialog value=action="delete"

    showStartupDialog value="false" action="insert"

I get an error when I do this.

It would be nice to have the .xml file included when I deploy the product, but it only creates the Scinaptic folder after you launch Outlook for the first time.

*apparently the syntax wouldn't show so i removed the < />

  3. "E-mail as attachment" not working when applied to custom libraries

In version OnePlaceMail 6.3 "E-mail as attachment" is supposed to work when applied to custom SharePoint libraries (see http://www.scinaptic.com/images/pdfs/oneplacemail-highlights.pdf on page 8, under "Other Enhancements"). We cannot seem to get this to work: the context action does not appear. Can anybody provide help?

We have installed the Scinaptic server components and have activated Scinaptic features on the site collection. How can we debug this? Thanks for any help

  4. Array index out of bounds

We have experienced a similar issue to Josh ( http://community.scinaptic.com/oneplacemail/topics/error_array_index_out_of_bounds ) but the details of the error appear to be different.

Is there any chance this is a SQL related as well? https://d37wxxhohlp07s.cloudfront.net/s3_images/851723/Error%20Array.png?1359692351

  5. Drag and Drop Operation Error - Outlook 2010

In my previous post ( http://community.scinaptic.com/oneplacemail/topics/errors_when_adding_outlook_emails_to_sharepoint_document_set ) we were experiencing a drag and drop error where there was no helpful error description. However, now we are experiencing a new drag drop error:

An unhandled error has occured in the drag/drop operation (items_ItemAdd event handler). Please try the drag/drop operation again.

Error: Operation aborted (Exception from HRESULT: )x80004004 (E_ABORT))

    https://d37wxxhohlp07s.cloudfront.net/s3_images/865223/drag_drop_error.png?1362093162

This error occured when attempting to move 259 emails from a live email folder to a SharePoint Document Set. This was the first transfer of this size after having transfered smaller batches to other (different) document sets.

  7. The selected location is currently unavailable

I have an issue similar like already discussed in this forum. However I don't understand the resolution discussed here: http://community.scinaptic.com/oneplacemail/topics/the_selected_location_is_currently_unavailable

I have the same issue as shown in that screenshot.

How can I resolve the problem?

  8. Asset libraries not visible in OnePlaceMail

To my surprise, an end-user reported that an ordinary asset library is not visible in her OnePlaceMail windows. I tested this with a standard asset library and was able to reproduce the issue. Since I thought this was supposed to work out-of-the-box, I unfortunately don't know how to further troubleshoot. Can anybody help point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance for any advice.

We are using SharePoint 2010, OnePlaceMail 6.3 (client: 24.0.22, server: 21.0.6)

Screenshot of our SharePoint "All Site Content" where "trieal 2" is visible:

  11. Email date changes

When transferring an email item to sharepoint the em date doesn't reflect the actual date the em was recieved. What is the interplay between the em date and the regional list settings (UK Time), the server hardware (GMT 0) and SharePoint (GMT+8) on how the em date is dispalyed. Currently changing the regional time setting changes the em date on some emails, but not others. This is a problem for our Eurpean users, but okay for users in NA.

  12. Column properties not available in file upload Window.

I am using OnePlaceEmail and it is a great tool.

I am facing a problem with OnePlaceMail columns.

I am able to see the email metadata filling the columns after saving an e-mail to SharePoint, I am not able to edit them except the default title Property.

OnePlaceMail does not display the properties in the file upload dialog :

  15. how to disable global Prompt to SharePoint options by using config_update.xml

I have an automated PowerShell script that runs on logon which copies the latest config_update.xml to the user's %appdata%... folder for automatic updates for new SharePoint Folders and other settings. This is working wonderfully for us but we want to be able to uncheck the "Prompt to 'Save to SharePoint' when adding attachments to an email and when sending an email" options.

I have reviewed the complete config_update.xml but that doesn't have any setttings for this.

I checked the config.xml after updating these options manually and it adds these 2 lines in the XML. Can you please confirm what elements…

  16. one place mail with IE11

I only have the trial version of OnePlaceMail but I have noticed some things similar to the same problem we have in the current software for outlook. There are certain functions that do not work with IE11 installed. Site actions button does not work, change view button does not work and you cannot scroll down in the sharepoint view.

  17. OPM doesn't show hierarchy of available terms for any managed meta-data term set when saving e-mail to SharePoint

When saving e-mail from Outlook 2013, field with additional managed meta-data doesn't show hierarchy of possible values within the termset (by selecting "Browse available values" button). Automatic search in available values works well so if I start to type in the term which I know in advance that it's included in the term set the autocomplete finds the value.
