OnePlaceMail Lite roaming profile
Is there a way to change the default behaviour of the roaming profile option under "General Settings" of the Plugin options?
OnePlaceMail Lite plugin does not appear to be using %appdata% to create the oneplacemail.pst file in the default roaming profile folder, but rather the entire mapped path.
This causes problems when the .pst file is not in the same path on a load balanced server (for example, Profile1 is stored under C:\Users\Profile1 on Server1 but may be C:\Users\Profile1_xx on Server2).

Navigation view no longer filters based on view in 6.6
Within the navigation tree after selecting copy / move to SharePoint, the list of items within a library used to filter using the Content View list view. This was in 6.4... however how in 6.6 (after an upgrade), this filter no longer applies and users can see all doc sets within the tree view, regardless of view.
Has this feature been deprecated?

Using short permalinks a links in emails
Hello, I'm new to OnplaceMail and perform so trials. We are using a custom Document Id (Guid) and create a short permalink in an additional field. The permalinks looks like gotoDoc:docId=xysu12233.
Can I configure OnplaceMail in such a way that the "short permalink" out of the additional field is included as link in the email rather than the full string generated behind the doc Id which has the physical location info included?

Hi,
We encounter an issue when saving emails with OnePlaceMail (v7.3) to document sets:

We have done some troubleshooting and found out it has to be something to do with the library. Because on some libraries saving emails to a document set works, and in other libraries none of the document sets seem to work. Still they are the same document sets that are being used...
Anyone an idea what this could be? Like a special library setting...

Hi,
I'm having an issue where OnePlaceMail Lite crashes Outlook each time I try and save an email. I've attached a screenshot of the issue. Can't connect Outlook to SharePoint (O365)
Hi, we are trying to connect Outlook to an O365 SharePoint, the license file list is there, and the license file, please see screenshot https://goo.gl/Agkdcg or attached below.

Help Needed - Lite version installation faults with "Generic Trust Issues"
I'm unable to successfully install either the One Place 30 day demo version or Lite version. I previously had successfully installed the demo version a few months ago which expired. Fault I receive during the installation is "Generic Trust Issues". I did ensure the earlier demo version was removed from my Programs listing after it had expired. Is there something else I must do prior to installing the Lite version? Thanks.

Plugins are not available in this version of OnePlaceMail
Hi all,
we have written a plugin for OnePlaceMail to make sure that archived emails cannot be uploaded to SharePoint.
This functionality stopped working from version 7.x and the error we get also confirms this:
Currently we have installed OnePlace Solutions version 7.3. We changed some of the plugin code, redeployed it and now it works like a charm, EXCEPT that we still get the above message "Plugins are not available in this version of OnePlaceMail...." When clicking OK, everything works fine.
Can we do something about this message?

Release 7.3 (Oh God...Not again)
Thanks for the update Elissa. Nice to see the company listening to their customers.
But I don't see any easy way to update OPM Lite from 7.2 to 7.3. The logical place to find such a feature is from Outlook > Oneplacemail > About > Check for updates.
The only way I see is to (1) uninstall R7.2 Lite, (2) install the full featured suite R7.3, (3) then after 30 days uninstall that and (4) re-install 7.3 Lite.

Can I upload a document from a website to sharepoint using oneplacemail?
Currently I have to download the document, store it on a local drive and then use oneplacemail to upload the document to sharepoint.
Is there a better way to do this?
I am using Oneplacemail enterprise Release 6.5 (Build 25.0.4 - Outlook 2010) - FCO

Oneplacemail replaces hyphens with underscores in file names, why?
When I am using oneplacemail to load a document (where the filename contains Hyphens) into sharepoint, One place mail is converting the hyphens to underscores. e.g My-File-Name.doc appears as Myfilename.doc
Even when i hit the manage files link and rename the document with hyphens it ignores the change and still shows underscores in the file name.
Can this be prevented?

SoapException when uploading to Sharepoint
Hi,
when a customer wants to upload a file to Sharepoint from Outlook he gets a SoapException on checkIn. I've updated the version of Oneplacemail to version 7.2 but still get the same exception.
Is there some settings or config file that isn't updated?

Some document library folders do not appear in One Place Mail
Some folders in a document library does not appear when user tries to save an email to SharePoint using OPM. The user has contribute access to the library. Other folders are all listed and they all have the same permissions. Once the user opens the folder from SharePoint through IE, the new folders appear in OPM too. Is this a known issue. OPM release number : 7.2

Prompt to "Save to sharepoint" when sending an email", doesn't work.
Hi, we have a issue with the feature "Prompt to "Save to sharepoint" when sending an email", for the majority of the users this works correctly but for some it doesn't. We work with a RDS 2012R2 and sharepoint 2013 in combination with office 2013 and OnePlaceMail version 6.6. The setting in settings for this in Outlook is set correct but still the window does not appear. Does this sound familiar and might there be a fix? I know I can update the OnePlaceMail tool to version 7 but that will not be done soon.

Shortcuts in left hand side navigation in outlook 2016 not working
Hi, We are using OnePlaceMail 7.2. Our Sharepoint View and Outlook view do not show our sharepoint library details when we click on one of our favorites in the left hand side navigation of Outlook 2016. How do we fix this?

Deployment to O365 Content Hub
Office 355 - Content Hub Deployment
Has anyone been able to activate the solution in the content hub? I am unable to increase the quota via the Admin pages or PowerShell. So the solution will not activate.
